This prequel takes place between the final stories of Sword of Destiny and brings us lots of insights into Geralt, his relationship to Yennefer and Dandelion, and why he was on his way to Blaviken. I loved it and found it a pleasure to redip into the world of Geralt one last time. I'd probably recommend reading it before Blood of Elves if you want to keep the chronology.
