A nice departure from genre cliches.

(Start of book) oh so this is a cute romance!
(End of book) GOOD LORD WHAT—

I looove strong women, and this was great! Omegaverse is often too white and *too* submissive and teary about their problems, and this is neither. It seems most if not all the characters are Black/POC, and the FMC Mercy is such a boss! A woman after my own heart.

Some CW, this is part romance part drama. May drag at times, then have a bunch happen at once.
