I JUST LOVE RAINBOW ROWELL SO MUCH AKSHDHAJA. Attachments has easily become one of my favorite books ever. It feels like you are watching a romantic comedy from the 90's which I love! This is the 4th book I've read from her, and I've finally caught up on all her books so far, and it might be my favorite from her. Rainbow Rowell's writing is flawless and my favorite thing about her characters is that her characters are so relatable.
I just loved and adored this story so much, so much more than I was expecting to. Lincoln is so awesome, and he is very relatable because of how awkward he is and anti-social, I totally get it. I am the same way and I love reading about characters I can relate to so easily. Beth and Jennifer are also amazing, hilarious characters. I felt like I knew them from their emails, just as Lincoln said he did. I love the fact that Beth is a movie critic because I have a huge passion for films and movies, and I love that I share the same passion as she does. I was just a little kid in 1999, so I enjoyed reading about the late 90's from an adults perspective, and the excitement about the "millennium" when we celebrated the year 2000 and all that. It sounds exciting. I wish I remembered living through that.
I highlighted so many different quotes and cute moments that it felt as if I might as well highlight the whole damn book. I enjoyed the plot twists that we discovered through the emails and it was so interesting to learn about new characters through their emails. I just really really really loved this book. And it's so great that I finished reading this book the morning of my 20th birthday, today. It's a wonderful memory that I'll remember forever. :)
“I didn't know someone could love me like this," she said. "Could love me and love me and love me without...needing space."
Lincoln wasn't asleep. He rolled on top of her.
"There's no air in space," he said.”

“What did he have to mope about, really? What more did he want?...Love. Purpose. Those are the things that you can't plan for. Those are the things that just happen. And what if they don't happen? Do you spend your whole life pining for them? Waiting to be happy?”

“But I saw this video, not even the whole thing, and I just knew that it was going to be my favorite song for...for the rest of my life. And it still is. It's still my favorite song...
Lincoln, I said you were cute because I didn't know how to say--because I didn't think I was allowed to say--anything else. But every time I saw you, I felt like I did the first time I heard that song.”

thank you! and yeah I did hear about her new book. I'm not a huge fan of fantasy either, and I didn't really care for the fanfiction parts in fangirl so idk if i'm gonna like it. But I trust rainbow rowell. :)
