I was daydreaming (putting off other writing I was supposed to be working on, actually) when I imagined Crow. I pictured him as this sweet boy who just happened to be dead and very lonely as a result. The entire story started with this idea for Crow’s character. Then I came up with a friend and an adventure for him.
