Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Megan Stewart Where Are My Pants? which is my first published short story was inspired by a writing prompt. The suggestion for the prompt was to start and end a sto…moreWhere Are My Pants? which is my first published short story was inspired by a writing prompt. The suggestion for the prompt was to start and end a story with the same line. I'm also am a mom to four and "Grammi" to ten, so items that go missing are a regular occurrence. Remote controls, socks, favorite pants, keys, etc. all disappear and sometimes reappear seemingly at random. This inspiration resulted in the idea for the series Where the Lost Things Go. I expect to publish several more in the series this year.(less)
