Thanks Cher! I'll be posting my best books video later this week... probably Thursday. It was a weird "escapist" reading year for me. So my favourite book (series) this year was actually a scifi series... the Expanse, which starts with Leviathan. I'm not sure it's your tastes. I'm so excited for a fresh year of reading & favourites.

I actually have had the ebook of Leviathan for a while but haven't read it yet. I just noticed my library has it on digital audiobook so maybe that can happen sooner vs later. :)

Mine was either And Every Morning the Way Home Gets Longer and Longer, a short but powerful novella that can squeeze a tear from even the blackest of hearts, or The House of Special Purpose, an enthralling and beautifully written historical fiction novel about the last Tsar and his family.

I heard the audiobook is pretty good, although I haven't listened to a sample. Added both books you mentioned to my TBR. I'll check them out when I have some time. I love that you read a lot of "lesser-known" books.
