Cactus Plant Flea Market is one of the more… creative brands in the streetwear game. From Blazer Mids that are covered in faux fur to Swarovski-encrusted Dunks, the label likes to be a bit shouty. And it got even louder when it launched 2019's Cactus Plant Flea Market x Nike Air Force 1. That didn't stop the collection from selling out though, and if you lost out first time round, then you're in luck: a sequel has just been revealed.
First teased by Lil Yachty earlier this year on Instagram, CPFM's latest sneakers are like a mash-up between the Air Force 1 and the Air More Uptempo. Each pair is crafted from tumbled leather. A Nike Swoosh cuts through the lateral and medial sidewalls, and this is overlaid by the word “Sunshine” in a big blobby typeface.
It shares a lot of similarities with a version from 2019. But unlike its forefather's clean ‘Black’ and ‘White’ colour combos, these models come in ‘Moss’ and ‘Fuchsia.’
Cactus Plant Flea Market has boomed in just under a decade. André 3000, Kid Cudi, and Pharrell Williams are three famous guys to fan the brand, and along the way, it's racked up a tonne of high profile collabs from Marc Jacobs to McDonald's.
The Cactus Plant Flea Market x Nike Air Force 1 is set to drop on May 1 at Cactus Plant Flea Market for around £120. A much wider release is expected to hit Nike, the Snkrs app, and select stockists over the next few weeks.
