The Family Man Season 3 Manoj Bajpayees espionage thriller will release on this date here are all the major updates...

Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K., widely known as Raj & DK, are renowned for their captivating series on OTT platforms. Their debut project, The Family Man, featuring Manoj Bajpayee, premiered on Amazon Prime Video in 2019 and swiftly gained global acclaim. Notably, the second season of The Family Man also secured the fourth spot in IMDb’s Most Popular TV Shows worldwide, following Marvel’s Loki, succeeded by Sweet Tooth and Mare of Easttown. With an engaging storyline, the show has a 100% Tomatometer score on Rotten Tomatoes and an 8.7 rating on IMDb. After much anticipation, The Family Man Season 3 has a release date!

The Family Man revolves around Srikant Tiwari, a middle-class man who is also a world-class spy. He hunts down terrorists and saves the nation from some of the biggest threats. However, he struggles to deal with the challenges he faces in his personal life. In The Family Man Season 2, South actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu made her digital debut, portraying the antagonist. The show features talented artists like Sharib Hashmi, Priyamani, Sharad Kelkar, Shreya Dhanwanthary and Sunny Hinduja.

A Quick Recap of The Family Man Season 2

Rolling into a quick recap of Season 2, we saw things getting tense between Srikant and his wife, Suchi. Their daughter Dhriti is in rebel mode as she knows things are rocky between her parents. She also discovers the truth about her father’s profession and finds new admiration for him. We see Srikant trying to work on his marriage; there is constant resistance from the other’s end, maybe because of the guilt that she is carrying about Arvind. At the end of the season, Srikant once again tackled the threat against the Indian Prime Minister and came back home.

Towards the end of The Family Man Season 2, Srikant and Suchi share late-night coffee. Srikant asks Suchi why she is distant and not being herself. We see her sobbing, and the screen goes blank — leaving us on a cliffhanger as to what will happen next between the two. We are unaware of what happened between her and Arvind in Lonavala. We already know Srikant believes that you can either be married or unmarried — nothing lies in between. But if Suchi indeed cheated on him, will he still try to keep their marriage as we know he loves her? Or will he give up on them?

Though Srikant did thwart the antagonist Rajji’s (played by Samantha) mission, Major Sameer is still alive, and he will likely return in The Family Man Season 3 to accomplish his mission.

Earlier this month, Manoj Bajpayee told Mid-Day he would begin shooting the series in 20 days. "One has to keep in mind that when you are getting into it again, it’s new ground, and you can’t take it for granted. You have to find a new process. You have to involve yourself in the preparation. My preparation is immense; it’s never linear," he said.

“The Family Man has now become a kind of a cult series. Fans want to see more of it. If the response is massive, go with the audience and think of a great script for the next one. But without a [good] script in place, don’t start the next instalment. The learning is don’t try to rush it. Write a great script, go through it again and again, and when you are truly satisfied, only then think of making the next part," he added.

Manoj Bajpayee also revealed that The Family Man Season 3 will be shot in North-East. He told The Lallantop, a Hindi news outlet, about the upcoming season, “This time we will mostly shoot in North-East. We will pick up from where we left off last season. I can assure you that this time Family Man will be bigger than the previous season. Bada sundar aur bhayanak hoga.”

“There will be new circumstances, new situations. This time Srikant Tiwari is in that phase of his life where his kids have grown up and even Srikant has grown old a bit, but the challenges don’t leave him,” Bajpayee added.

During the 8th Brahmaputra Valley Film Festival, PTI was informed by the show makers that they would base a significant portion of the show on Northeastern themes and emphasize the region's geopolitics in the story. DK told PTI about the storyline, "I'll keep it under wraps. You've seen the show – 'The Family Man' 1 and 2. We like to go around and showcase different parts of the country and its geopolitics. In Season 1, we dealt with Kashmir, we dealt with Tamil Nadu and Sri Lanka in Season 2. This one (Season 3) I would like to keep under wraps what exactly it is about, but you get a sense of the kind of show it is. We tend to be balanced and sensitive about issues.”

"One of the important things about 'The Family Man' is we want to be authentic. Whichever region we are showing, we have taken out the form from that region to portray its own culture. It'll be a crime to take some reels and portray some other cultures," he added.

Considering the long gap between the release of the first and second seasons, Manoj Bajpayee shared the reason behind the delay with Koimoi, “Raj and DK are not in favour of rushing into Season 3. To go from Season 1 to Season 2, it took us three years. So please grant us that much time for Season 3. When we do come with Season 3, I promise you, the surprise factor will be just as high as Season 2, if not more.”

According to the details provided by The Family Man team, it's anticipated that Season 3 of the series will be released in 2025.
