A mysterious founder opens a new kind of amusement park in which incredibly life-like machines called hosts are programmed to fulfill all of the guests’ wildest fantasies. But when the programming starts to go haywire and the hosts go off-script, the humans and hosts find themselves pitted in a deadly game with the question of what it means to be alive at its heart.
