We all suffer the effects of aging infrastructure. Which is why we created our AUR technology that will empower municipalities to achieve better water management, saving money and creating more cost effective projects. Read more below on how the residents of Broomfield, Co are being impacted 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼 BROOMFIELD, Colo. — The Broomfield City Council is considering a 50% water rate hike to pay for aging infrastructure! "We all know if you own a home or a car and you don’t maintain it, it gets exponentially more expensive when it breaks. And that’s where we’re at right now," explained Broomfield City Councilmember James Marsch-Holschen. Link: https://lnkd.in/gr87tvCe

Disclaimer: NOT a drinking water post. But it needs to be said for our sewer friends! ❤️🌊 Human-made items, especially baby wipes wreak havoc on the country’s sanitary sewer systems, often congealing into gelatinous masses called “fatbergs” that can stretch hundreds of feet. Wipes alone cost utilities in the U.S. about $441 million annually. Recently Congress voted and passed Bill 2964 that will require sanitary products including: baby wipes, bathroom wipes, cleaning wipes and personal care wipes to be clearly and conspicuously labeled with a “DO NOT FLUSH” symbol. Who agrees that these products need this type of labeling? Read more 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼 https://lnkd.in/gJPWFnVE

💧 💧 💧 Its Water Wednesday The first known underground water main system was constructed on the island of Crete, Greece by the ancient Minoan civilization in approximately 2200 and 1400 BC (bronze age.) This advanced water management system was constructed mainly from terracotta pipes and supplied water to the Palace of Knossos. The ancient Minoans were far ahead of their time, as they had flushing toilets, sewer piping and drainage, and even methods to collect rainwater! The more you know.
