Bright futures for Johnston County children
About us
The Partnership for Children of Johnston County is a non-profit organization that helps improve the safety, health and emotional well-being of young children, by enhancing the quality of childcare, supporting strong families and reaching out to at-risk kids. We work collaboratively with like-minded organizations and strive toward early childhood education and school readiness for all of JoCo’s children. We prepare kids to have a better future. Our message is simple – children matter. All children – no matter what their circumstances, no matter what their physical and intellectual abilities. The Partnership for Children supports families and early childhood educators to improve the health, safety and school readiness of children in Johnston Study after study proves that the first five years of a child’s life set the course for their adulthood. Children aren’t just learning colors or abc’s – they’re learning how the world works. How to communicate, collaborate, manage their emotions and solve problems. Their brains are forming pathways that will either enhance learning and the resulting opportunity it offers or not. Our Mission The Partnership effectively utilizes a multitude of resources to ensure that Johnston’s youngest residents and their families receive educational, health, and emotional support services, preparing children for lifelong success. Our Vision is bright futures for Johnston County children.
