I love TED Talks. You give 15 minutes. You get potentially life-changing information. Seems like a pretty solid exchange to me. But here’s the catch… You have to actually apply what you learn. It’s easy to feel inspired by watching TED Talks, but the real impact comes from putting that inspiration into action. Watching is just the beginning—transformation happens when you apply what you’ve learned. Today, I’m highlighting 7 TED Talks that genuinely changed the way I operate in the world: 1. How to Make Stress Your Friend by Kelly McGonigal 2. The First 20 Hours — How to Learn Anything by Josh Kaufman 3. Inside The Mind of a Master Procrastinator by Tim Urban 4. What Makes a Good Life by Dr. Robert Waldinger 5. The Power of Vulnerability by Brené Brown 6. Grit: The Power of Passion and Perseverance by Angela Lee Duckworth 7. The Danger of a Single Story by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie Now it’s your turn. Share a TED Talk that has changed the way you see the world down in the comments. ♻️ And hit that repost button to help spread the knowledge!
Colby Kultgen I completely agree with you. TED Talks are a great source of inspiration and knowledge. One TED Talk that has changed my perspective is The Art of Possibility" by Rosamund Stone Zander and Benjamin Zander. It taught me to see the world with a new lens of possibility and to embrace the power of creativity and imagination. Thank you for sharing your list of TED Talks, I'll definitely check them out! ♻️
These are great. I'd like to add an eighth one Colby Kultgen: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c0KYU2j0TM4
Thanks for sharing! Colby Kultgen 👏 I'm eager to add some TED Talks that have transformed my life: 1. “Breath - 5 Minutes Can Change Your Life” by Stacey Schuerman 2. “Sleep is Your Superpower” by Matt Walker 3. “How Boredom Can Lead to Your Most Brilliant Ideas” by Manoush Zomorodi 4. “Intermittent Fasting: Transformational Technique” by Cynthia Thurlow
If you want to learn how to become good at any skill, you need to watch Josh Kaufman's TED Talk. It is a massive unlock for those wanting to upskill and skill-stack.
Stress as a friend. Learning in 20 hours. Beating procrastination. These talks don't just inspire. They change lives. Time to put them to work. Colby Kultgen
Colby Kultgen TED Talks can be so inspiring, but I agree—real change happens when we take action on what we’ve learned. For me, "Grit" by Angela Duckworth reshaped my approach to challenges.
Time: 15 minutes. Cost: zero. You have plenty to gain for pretty much no investment.
Listen - apply - listen - apply That's how it should go. Stuff can't happen on its own by just listening to Goggins scream at you. Colby Kultgen
