We can expect a plethora of new offerings and improvements in features you can adopt to streamline your HR operations, improve employee experiences, and, ultimately, reduce the time and resources spent on your HR processes.
Regardless of the type of technological solution or form of utilization, HR tech is helping enterprises - streamline processes and become more strategic.

R&R is undeniably connected to bottom-line levers such as employee engagement, retention & productivity. With the pronounced rise of the individual, #HRTech & the #experience economy, R&R ‘art of the possible’ is reimagined. In this context, was a privilege to listen & learn from 4 HR leaders representing different sectors/lifecycle stages. Summary:
Purpose & Philosophy: Balance (1) Tangibles - Business & contextual alignment (2) Intangibles - Organizational Culture, Process, Values. Be authentic. Embed distinctive organizational signature. Right blend: Human + digital
Personalization: Balance N=1 &. n=1. Example – Hospitalization Insurance needs across different personas. Employee listening & benchmarking key to optimize investment. Choice architecture & Closed loop communication key for adoption.
Extrinsic (&/OR) Intrinsic Motivation: Pure focus on extrinsic - more Vasily Alekseyev stories. He set 80 world weightlifting records in 7 yrs. Received bonus funds from govt each time he set a world record. ~1 lb lifted more each time. But fell short of the 600 lb mark as age caught up, with this incremental approach. Recently, #neuroscience & #SelfDeterminationTheory emphasize #autonomy, #relatedness & #competence, as drivers of ‘flow’ at work.
The panel was aligned that both are needed (blend per context, audience/persona). Different nuances of intrinsic motivation came through: cross-cultural sensitivity, purpose/self-concept, involvement of family, leadership connect/access and a focus on 3S (Sincerity, Spontaneity & Sufficiency).
Connected Process vs. Isolated Event: Connect R&R to hire-to-retire/rehire touchpoints, for continuity & optimal capture of moments that matter. Some new(er) organizations may emphasize direct connects to business (e.g. Sales achievement). Others may leverage R&R for culture/value reinforcement (for e.g. cross-team collaboration, interviewer/buddy contribution), with bonuses for performance.
Close loop through impact: Earlier session by Yashwant Mahadik called out need to go past ‘convincing’ people about the need/importance of #DEI. Similar sentiment regarding impact through R&R. However, fiduciary responsibility calls for the right #governance & #HRTechnology to help generate reliable, relevant metrics. Focus areas include: Coverage, Adoption, Bias checks and correlation with target outcomes where feasible.
Configuration #selfservice, #social & #insight-powered core #HRTech are increasingly germane in this exciting discipline of R&R.
