In his article, David details the growth of the Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) in 2023, which saw a record 1,407 listed securities by year-end. The BSX maintained its leading position in the insurance-linked securities (ILS) market in 2023, with 195 new listings. This session was a fantastic opportunity to exchange experiences, review benefits and challenges, and explore the characteristics of different linkage models. A heartfelt thank you to FEAS - Federation of Euro-Asian Stock Exchanges for organizing this insightful event. The collaborative spirit and shared knowledge from various CSDs were truly inspiring. 🔹 Key Highlights: 1- Discussed the complexities and benefits of CSD linkages. 2- Shared insights on overcoming challenges in cross-border operations. 3- Reviewed different linkage models and each one’s advantages and disadvantages.
