Impatience can come from comparing ourselves to others. (We see somebody else achieve something and wonder "Why hasn't __ happened for ME yet!?") But things happen on their own timelines. Putting in the word and being persistent allows you to accomplish something in YOUR right amount of time.

She is absolutely correct. I have said it before and I will continue to say it over and over until all those in Leadership roles understand this. You cannot be successful without your team. A “Manager” will never succeed past where they are, a Leader will only if they nurture their teams unique individual talents. Take time to acknowledge and appreciate those that bust tail for you and the Company your work for. Help those who falling behind and empower another to mentor them. Nurture those ready to grow and be proud when they succeed past your position. Recognize when team members are burnt out and help them turn that around. Being a Leader is not easy, and sometimes it is downright exhausting. You know what? When you have take the time to help others grow and the company you love working for succeed as well, it is all worth it in the end. Why? Because when you are successful, your personal life goals come true as well.💖
