At month 6 of your podcast, you need to have an established ‘convert’ option. This isn’t about gated / ungated content - it’s about providing value to listeners to engage further with your show and learning more about what matters to your audience. Our go-to recommendation is establishing a newsletter, and your pod’s content can fuel the content for the newsletter. One of my favorite examples of using content for different mediums is 30MPC. The episodes and newsletter are value-rich, and they don’t have to reinvent the wheel for each channel.

Plan your content strategy with your pillar pieces first to make the most out of everything you create. A video can be easily turned into a podcast, blog posts, images, and video clips for social media. This repurposing strategy doesn't need to start with video. You can start with a pillar page, podcast, webinar, article, or other piece of long-form content and plan to get a dozen other content types based on that effort.
