There are moments worth celebrating. Wins are still out there no matter how things may appear. Two more retail stores approved for clients in NJ and another two full vertical licenses (cult, manu, retail) for two clients that own their own land in NJ. There are also losses. In the 1,300 range for NY priority review. Likely not a winner. Onward and upward. Learn from each experience and bring that to the next venture or deal. Still have a great location in New Rochelle for anyone that wins in the Mid-Hudson region.

Rejection and failure can be a catalyst for growth; although difficult in the moment it can lead to something great! After attending an energetic revenue kick off meeting for a mission driven company working to help clients & clinicians, I find myself reflecting on this journey the last 2 years. 🌟I’m honored to win the Pinnacle top sales leader award and make Chairman’s Club for the second year. 🌟I’m proud of my team & their support. 🌟I’m thankful for great leaders & their guidance. 🌟I’m grateful for this opportunity to continue to grow and help therapy practices. 🌟However, I’m also appreciative of all the NOs that led me here. We don’t always understand why life works out in those moments. After 20 years of being an occupational therapist I wanted to grow my career and diversify my skill set. Without sales experience I faced a lot of rejection in my job search yet was still determined to find a sales opportunity and leverage my clinical skills. Sometimes a NO helps you learn along the way to propel you where you are meant to be. I was passed by for many interviews due to lack of “experience” and overlooked for many opportunities due to more experienced candidates being a better fit. Thank you to the leaders that believed in me here & to Therapy Brands for not only giving me a chance, but for facilitating my growth in order to help hundreds of Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy practices find a software solution to streamline their work flows & put time back in their day to better serve their clients. A vulnerable and exciting update for my network: A little over a year ago, when I joined The Admin Effect as their Chief Marketing Officer, I stepped out of my comfort zone and really put my imposter syndrome to the test. I could confidently tell an office how many seminars they would need to hold to meet their growth goals for the year. I could identify gaps in branding and deliverables for a company, create and execute a social media calendar, and organize a client events schedule. However, I had no idea what Firelight was. I didn't know what a replacement application entailed. I didn't fully grasp the difference between a carrier and a custodian. The only thing I knew about a Roth IRA was simply that I had one. And don't even ask me to explain the difference between qualified and non-qualified funds. The list goes on... I share this because, in a matter of months, with the guidance and support of our incredible team, I learned what Firelight was (spoiler: it's not the song by Owl City). I learned the significance of IRA types in applications, and the difference between qualified and non-qualified funds. This knowledge allowed me to develop effective case management training, forecast how many applications our team can complete in a day, and streamline money movement timeframes and strategies. Let my experience during the past year be a testament to the true power of The Admin Effect. Our service offering, and ESPECIALLY our training program, was created with the framework that I followed to get to this point, and that our team has followed as well. A special shoutout to our Leadership Team for pushing me toward this opportunity and giving me the grace and confidence to take on this new role. Another consolidation event in the CPG brokerage industry... 🙄 As brands today are seeking high-value strategic broker partners who can provide significant customer expertise and more importantly the ability and the capacity to deliver on expectations, we continue to see the large national brokerage firms march down the path of consolidation - a direction that over the last decade has proven to push brands *away* from this model and towards more customer-focused, best-in-market brokers. I, for one, welcome our consolidated broker overlords.... One thing I know for certain is that brands want (and need) a broker they can trust; a partner that can help solve pain-points and remove the obstacles impeding their growth - a broker that will fight for their business everyday as if it were their own. but what do I know 🤷♂️
