The Western Hills Wolverines basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the visiting Shelby County Rockets to 45 in the Wolverines non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Wolverines now sport a 6-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Owen County for a non-league contest on Friday, January 25. Western Hills will battle a Rebels team coming off a 52-48 league win over Eminence (Eminence, KY). The Rebels record now stands at 2-10.

The Rockets (2-11) will now prepare for their contest against Oldham County (Buckner, KY). The Colonels come into the non-league contest with a 7-6 record. In their last contest, Oldham County was defeated by Pleasure Ridge Park (Louisville, KY), 65-58, in a non-league contest.
