Michigan High School Basketball - Western International overwhelms Pershing
December 16, 2022: Detroit, MI 48234 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Western International Cowboys (Detroit, MI) and the host Pershing Doughboys (Detroit, MI), saw Western International's basketball squad wallop Pershing by a tally of 87-43.
With the victory, Western International improves its record to 1-3 on the campaign. The Cowboys travel to East Lansing (East Lansing, MI) to confront the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 17. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 2-0. East Lansing won 62-47 in their recent league challenge against Everett (Lansing, MI)
Next up, the Doughboys confront the Bay City Western Warriors (Auburn, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 16. Pershing will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 48-35 league win over Central (Bay City, MI).
