The Nashville Superspeedway plays host to the NASCAR Cup Series on Sunday afternoon. A full field of drivers will take on the 1.33-mile oval for the Ally 400. It’s the fourth race in Nashville with Ross Chastain taking the checkered flag in 2023.

Chastain enters today’s race at +1500 to repeat as the race winner. Kyle Larson won on the track in 2021 and Chase Elliott took the flag in 2022. Larson, the current points leader and co-favorite to win this afternoon (+400), will start in the second row for the 2024 Ally 400.

Ally 400: NASCAR Cup Series Race odds, preview and picks

It’s hard to determine trends with such a short historical sample size for the Ally 400, but NASCAR has run races on the track for its Xfinity Series for most of the 2000s. Kyle Busch (2009, 2021) and Brad Keselowski (2008, 2010) are the only multi-time winners on the track competing in the Ally 400.

Last week Christopher Bell won his third race of the season and he’ll be sharing the second row with the aforementioned Larson. The front row will have Denny Hamlin — who has also won three times this season in the Cup Series — and Josh Berry. Hamlin joins Larson as a co-favorite to win today (+400).

Let's take a look at some notable odds now that we've gone over recent trends:

Odds to win the Ally 400 based on the Top 10 drivers in the NASCAR Cup Series standings

Denny Hamlin +400

Kyle Larson +400

Martin Truex Jr. +650

Christopher Bell +800

Ryan Blaney +1000

Brad Keselowski +1400

Ross Chastain +1500

William Byron +1700

Tyler Reddick +1700

Chase Elliott +1800

This is going to be a tight race. The Hendrick Motorsports team has had early success on this track, which bodes well for Larson, who won in Nashville previously and did so in impressive fashion. With these Superspeedway races, a driver can go through long periods as the leader and Larson seems best equipped to do that.

Best Bets: Kyle Larson (+400), Brad Keselowski (+1400)

Best Bets to finish Top 5: Ty Gibbs (+140), Ross Chastain (+175), William Byron (+180)

Best Longshot Bet: Kyle Busch (+2800), Alex Bowman (+3500)
