The 2024 Copa America continues Wednesday evening with Uruguay and Colombia in a superb semifinal showdown. This will be the first meeting between the two sides since a 2026 World Cup qualification match in October 2023, which ended 2-2 in Barranquilla.

Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina plays host to this decisive duel. Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m. CT on Wednesday. Fox Sports 1 will have nationwide coverage in the United States. Let's break down the odds.

2024 Copa America preview: Uruguay vs. Colombia odds, prediction, best bet

Uruguay’s aforementioned draw with Colombia saw it kick off a run of impressive form. La Celeste has lost just once in its last 11 matches, a span that includes wins over Argentina, Brazil (x2), Mexico and the United States. Marcelo Bielsa has an immensely talented squad at his disposal as he looks to lead his squad to a record 16th Copa America triumph.

While Uruguay’s current form is impressive, it doesn’t even compare to Los Cafateros, who are unbeaten in the last calendar year (16 matches). Colombia’s glory days lie ahead after 12 wins and four draws during the aforementioned run. Nestor Lorenzo’s side is playing as well as anyone right now, and the confidence has translated onto the pitch.

Let’s take a closer look at the odds and trends ahead of this highly anticipated Copa America clash:

Uruguay vs. Colombia

Time/TV: Wednesday, July 10 at 7 p.m. CT (Fox Sports 1)

Location: Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina

Moneyline: Uruguay +180 | Draw +180 | Colombia +195

Preview

While Argentina is the only team to have booked a place in the final before tonight, these two semifinalists have been the most impressive teams at the 2024 Copa America. They've scored 20 combined goals and allowed just three between them, with each posting results against Brazil in the process.

There are more questions for Bielsa's side heading in, though, as he faces uncertainties in defense. 50% of Uruguay's back line in a 4-2-3-1 will be missing with Nahitan Nandez (red card suspension) and Ronald Araujo (injury) out for the semifinal.

Even more onus will be put on Bielsa's attack — specifically Darwin Nunez — with the questionable defense. This is a unit that failed to find the back of the net against Brazil, although it was playing with 10 men for a quarter of an hour.

Colombia doesn't need any invitation to get forward and attack. The defensive changes for La Celeste will give Los Cafateros freedom to add to its 11 goals this tournament.

Former Real Madrid star James Rodriguez has turned back the clock with one goal and a tournament-leading five assists in just four games. He epitomizes creativity and he's one to watch against a holding midfield pairing of Manuel Ugarte and Federico Valverde.

The last three meetings between these two sides have ended in draws after regulation (0-0 and 0-0 in 2021, 2-2 in 2023). I like both sides to score (+110), but my favorite play is the game to remain level after regular time (+180).

Prediction
