Four former LSU basketball standouts hope to make an impression and further their chances of taking a step to the game's highest level over the next two weeks in the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas.

Former Tigers centers Will Baker and KJ Williams, forward Darius Days and guard Javonte Smart are taking part in the event, which began Friday and runs through July 22.

Baker, who was undrafted last month after finishing his collegiate career with LSU in March, is playing for Detroit, while Williams is with Oklahoma City. Days is with Philadelphia and Smart plays for Chicago.

All four players will make their 2024 Summer League debut Saturday.

Baker and the Pistons face Days and the 76ers at 6 p.m. (ESPN2), while Williams and the Thunder take on Toronto at 7:30 p.m. (NBATV). Smart and the Bulls play Milwaukee at 3:30 p.m. (NBATV).

Williams, Days and Smart are NBA Summer League veterans. Williams played in the G League last season, while Days and Smart previously played in the G League and also have limited playing time in the NBA.
