Jayden Daniels can now add even more hardware to his already crowded trophy case.

The former LSU star and Heisman-winning quarterback took home the ESPY award Thursday for the country’s best male collegiate athlete.

To win the award, Daniels beat out three other nominees: former Purdue basketball player Zach Edey, Clemson soccer star Ousmane Sylla and Notre Dame lacrosse’s Pat Kavanaugh.

Two other LSU athletes appeared at the ESPYs. Gymnast Haleigh Bryant was nominated for two awards, one for the best female college athlete and another for the top breakthrough athlete. Basketball star and rapper Flau'jae Johnson performed a snippet of her new song, "Came Out A Beast." And gymnast Olivia Dunne presented an award alongside Daniels and New Orleans-born rap legend Lil Wayne.

Daniels, who was selected with the No. 2 overall pick of April’s NFL draft, will soon begin his rookie season with the Washington Commanders. On Tuesday, he was named the Roy Kramer Southeastern Conference Male Athlete of the Year.
