Our Team
MICHAELA BECHLER, Adore’s Editor, moved to New Orleans in 2019 after working in Los Angeles and New York. She first fell in love with the city during her time at Ole Miss, where she graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and a minor in French. In New York, Michaela landed her dream job at Vogue and worked amongst the magazine’s iconic editors. She gained a lifetime’s worth of experience in the fashion and features departments and frequently contributed to the website’s living and beauty sections as well as party coverage. Looking for a change of pace and scenery, she landed in New Orleans to be with her now-husband. Michaela loves working with local shops and businesses and showcasing talented New Orleanians in Adore. In her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling, being active (especially at Barre3, Fit Therapy, or in Audubon Park), and trying new restaurants.
MARIGNY LANAUX, Adore’s Content Producer, is a native New Orleanian who has always had a love for social media, food, fashion, and style. Growing up in the Lakeview area and attending high school Uptown, she is very familiar with New Orleans culture. Being in a city that offers an array of different cuisines and flavors inspired her to start a Louisiana-based food blog with her twin sister, which gave her the chance to be creative and grow her social media skills. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Louisiana State University in December 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and a minor in English. In her free time, she loves trying new restaurants, going on scenic walks while listening to a podcast, or taking a stroll to shop along Magazine Street.
LAUREN CUNNINGHAM, Adore's Account Executive, graduated from the University of New Orleans in December 2022, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a minor in Marketing & Management. Born and raised in New Orleans, it's no surprise that Lauren loves all things New Orleans: Mardi Gras, Saints football, festivals, and the amazing food. She's also always had a love for fashion and shopping. Adore is an expression of so many of Lauren's favorite things, and she loves collaborating with local businesses. In her free time, she likes to travel anywhere tropical, cooking and trying new recipes, and going on sunset walks by the lake.
SOFIA GOMEZ, Adore's Account Executive, was raised in Bogota, Colombia and came to New Orleans for school. She graduated in May 2023 from Tulane University with degrees in Communication and Political Science. New Orleans has become Sofia's second home and she has dedicated her time here to get to know the city. She is passionate about the intersection of fashion, culture, and ideas and loves how New Orleans's vibrant culture reminds her of her own! Sofia enjoys spending most of her free time exploring new places in the city and going to hot yoga. Her favorite New Orleans neighborhood is the Bywater, and, on the weekends, you can find her at Alma Cafe!
