One of the best tandems in the NFL produced even more in 2023 and should be set for a huge season ahead. A.J. Brown registered an NFL-record six consecutive games of 125-plus yards receiving on his way to a career-best (and best for any Eagles wide receiver ever) 106 receptions for 1,456 yards and 7 touchdowns in 17 games. Brown was a dominating player from every spot on the field and he again teamed with DeVonta Smith to turn defenses inside and out throughout the season. Smith contributed 81 receptions for 1,066 yards and 7 touchdowns, playing 91 percent of the team's offensive snaps.

With the passing game going through both of them in the wide receivers room, the Eagles still gained contributions from their other receivers. Julio Jones made some plays and added 3 touchdowns after joining the team midseason, Quez Watkins added 15 receptions for 142 yards, and Olamide Zaccheaus was a do-anything player who had 2 touchdowns among his 10 catches. Britain Covey didn't see a lot of action as a wide receiver, but he was a force in the punt return game.

There are some young receivers who were with the Eagles throughout the season, mainly on the practice squad: Devon Allen, who suffered a torn ACL late in the season in practice, Joseph Ngata, Griffin Hebert. Added to the roster since the season ended: Shaquan Davis, Jacob Harris, and Austin Watkins.

Key WR Fact: For a second consecutive season, Brown and Smith each surpassed 1,000 receiving yards, extending a franchise record. In 2022, the pair became the first Eagles receivers to each gain more than 1,000 receiving yards in a single season.
