MICS Whale Adoption Program!

You can now adopt a whale online! We have updated our adoption program to include new and old individuals of humpback, fin and blue whales, all of them well-known individuals sighted in many different places.

Why adopt a whale?

By adopting a whale you gain access to all the information of an individual whale that we have collected over the course of its life. Moreover, you will be able to follow the movements and wanderings of these whales on our Facebook and Twitter pages. Most importantly, by adopting a whale you support MICS in continuing its long-standing research efforts and its conservation work in the Saint-Lawrence.

What do you get?

The whale adoption package includes:

  • an adoption certificate
  • a biography of the whale
  • an identification sheet
  • up to 3 high-resolution photographs of your adopted whale

All files will be sent to you electronically by email. You can then print any of these documents and photos in any size you want.
