Great film, fun to watch. Will be adding it to the holiday rotation of movies.

litle witty but the story plot is predictable, wouldn't recommend for a watch

This movie was actually pretty good. It was hilarious and when they say “violent” they mean it. kinda gave off “home alone” vibes but with more blood.

Far more earnest and heartwarming than expected, the folks at 87North have another great action film with Violent Night! The performances range from subdued to wacky and awesome stunt work with hard-hitting violence. There's a real heart to the film that I hope earns is a sequel, because I'd love to explore the fantastical elements even more with the vicious action!

As far as Christmas movies go, I would go Home Alone, The Grinch, and for flavour; Violent Night.

It's very worth watching if you like action packed Christmas movies. Lol

LOVED this movie! David Harbour was amazing as Santa in it and Id fully recommend it!

I never laughed so much. An ultraviolent comedy. The film is not perfect as much of the supporting cast are weak as comic actors and the the run time is about 20 minutes too long to sustain the joke. But those are minor complaints.

Un mauvais film, on s'ennuie presque tout le long et les scènes de carnage ne sont pas des plus réalistes. Les personnages sont plus ringards les uns que les autres. Le personnage de Harbour n'est même pas assez développé.

Just a good old action movie. Gory at times, has a John Wick vibe to it.

Not remotely entertaining despite the premise.

So the spoiled, rich annoying family ‘believe' and suddenly get to keep almost all of their money despite hating each other until then? That's not exactly the spirit of Christmas. The money should have went up in an explosion or something. Apart from the bad ending this movie was pretty good. Nice to see David Harbour really going for it and a thoughtful Home Alone homage.

A modern classic. My partner and I loved it... Albeit a bit late in January of 2024!

sit back and relax for some Christmas action. Heavily inspired by the Christmas action flick Die Hard. Santa takes his old fighting skills and puts them to the task at stopping a group of violent criminals from robbing a billionaire's mansion.

What do you get when you cross Die Hard, Home Alone, and John Wick, along with a cast who are Christmas movie veterans? A deliciously violent and surprisingly hilarious movie. I was told I needed to watch this movie. Now, I'm sad I didn't check it out sooner. This movie wears its inspiration on it's sleeve, but despite the satire there's a surprising depth, even taking cues from The Santa Clause (specifically, that Santa is a role that's inherited or in this case, a curse) during the brief explanation of his origins. Not a family movie, but after the kids have gone to bed, I highly recommend the parents check this movie out.

This is a great addition to an emerging genre - Holiday Gore! David Harbour is now my favorite version of Santa. I also liked the subtle nods to many Christmas classics throughout the movie.

High hopes but was cheesy, gory, and dull.

A fun, bloody christmas movie to watch with the family (if your children are old enough).
