Position Summary:

Full-time position with direct report to the Director of Product Management. The Product Manager will have portfolio management responsibility for assigned medical device products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collect and develop end user requirements for new product development and collaborate cross-functionally with all departments for successful product launch.
• Cultivate and expand groups of KOLs (Key Opinion Leaders) in medical device markets related to existing and new products lines.
• Perform Voice-of-the-Customer activities to inform the R&D process, product line extensions, and new product concepts.
• Utilize market analytics to understand global market share, total available market, and emerging trends and requirements to feed new product development efforts.
• Coordinate with the marketing team to provide all marketing deliverables in a timely manner for the company’s Stage – Gate Product Development Process.
• Organize product launch training materials and conduct product training for new product launches as required.
• Collaborate with the marketing team on downstream marketing activities as appropriate, including marketing campaigns, collateral creation, sales promotions, etc.
• Perform needs assessment of existing product lines and recommend/ implement line extensions, relaunches, and promotional opportunities.
• Work closely with the Director of Marketing on related marketing activities as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing (U.S. or foreign equivalent degree acceptable).
• Two years of medical device portfolio management experience as a Product Manager.

Additional Job Requirements:

Travel Requirement. Up to 20% in domestic/international travel for meetings with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and end users within the medical device industry.
