Recycling Update
The Recycling Program at Anthem will see changes at the end of April. The Mixed Material program will be discontinued. These materials include the plastic bottles and jugs and the metal cans. Abitibi, the program provider, can no longer absorb the losses incurred due to high operating costs of this program. The mixed material bins will be removed at the end of April however, the paper/cardboard containers will remain. If you wish to continue to recycle the mixed materials you can do so by taking the plastics and aluminum/metal cans and also glass to two drop off points in Florence. Either the Main Street Park on 22nd Street in Florence or the Pinal County Recycling Transfer Station on Adamsville Road in Florence will accept these materials anytime of the day.
We are accepting Neighborhood Representative Committee Applications for the OVERLOOK and OVERTURE neighborhoods. Pick one up TODAY!

Update
The Fall 2012 course schedule is being put together based upon the input that you gave on the ASU Learning Survey. We will be sending out survey results toward the end of the month. In addition, the Summer Learning Website will soon be active again. You will be able to access free coursework from such learning sites as BBC Learning, The Annenberg Foundation, The Discovery Channel, and many more from the comfort of your home, RV, or any other accommodation in which you may choose to spend your summer. All you will need is a computer and internet access. You will receive notification by email when the site becomes active. Until then, have a great month and keep those brains active with learning and discovery!
