The Office of Acquisitions oversees the federal contracting process that enables the SEC to purchase goods and services from third-party vendors to advance the agency’s mission at lower costs to taxpayers.
The federal government encourages small businesses to seek agency contract awards, and the SEC's Office of Acquisitions maintains an Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU) to promote and advocate small business opportunities within the agency's acquisition process.
If you are interested in obtaining information pertaining to SEC contracts, you must submit a FOIA request. Please note that for privacy reasons, federal law prohibits some contract information from being released to the general public, and only information on awarded contracts is allowed to be released.

The Supplier Diversity Business Management System (SDBMS) serves as the central repository of general business information and statements of capabilities for vendors interested in SEC procurement opportunities. SDBMS is used to source diverse vendors for market research purposes in developing agency requirements and used to share information with vendors about SEC supplier diversity initiatives.
