Law 2957 – Housing Discrimination

This is an online course designed to give an overview of fair housing law and provide practical knowledge necessary to combat housing discrimination. Students in this course will be introduced to fair housing history, law, policy, and procedure, and given the opportunity to draft fair housing complaints that are based on real test evidence.

Law 2595 – Race and American Law

This course, team-taught by a dozen faculty, explores race in American law, drawing on empirical and theoretical social science, history, and traditional legal materials. It will explore how the law treats race (and ethnicity and national origin) across legal curricula.

Accelerator Practice

The Accelerator Practice is an in-house law practice located within Suffolk Law School and created in 2014 as part of the larger Accelerator Program. Student attorneys represents average-income individuals who otherwise lack access to the justice system. Students will develop the legal skills and business practices needed to lead or participate in a solo or small private law firm.
