Video Ad and Retag Requests

NHTSA produces a variety of video ads for use on TV and digital, and many of these videos are available for states and traffic safety stakeholders to use.

Below are lists of video ads that are available by request through Traffic Safety Marketing and Ad Council.

Please submit your request with sufficient time to meet media advertising deadlines.

Note: No one, including states, may alter, edit, or change a NHTSA TV or digital ad.

Many of NHTSA’s traffic safety enforcement campaigns, and some social norming campaigns, include video ads. Below are videos available by request. States can also request that NHTSA retag the video by adding their state tag and logo to the end of the video. Typically, NHTSA retags the :30 16x9 versions, but if you require other lengths/digital sizes retagged, include them in your request and NHTSA will consider requests on a case-by-case basis. 

1. Review the videos below. Click “Preview” to watch a video.
2. Select the video(s) you want by checking “Request” under the video. 
3. In the popup box, make your selections, then click "Next." 
4. A prepopulated email will be generated based on your selection and you’ll be prompted to fill out additional information. 

If requesting a retag, please allow at least three weeks for us to fulfill your request. Also, we'll ask you for some additional information as you submit your request, including state logo in .TIF or .EPS format and state tag.
 

NHTSA works with Ad Council on several campaigns:

• Child Passenger Safety (Car Seats, Boosters, Belts, Heatstroke)
• Distracted Driving (Social Norming)
• Drunk Driving (Social Norming)
• Drug-Impaired Driving (Social Norming)

In some cases you can request the video be retagged with your logo. Additional video lengths and sizes may also be available at AdCouncil.org.
