Body found near Gauthier Drive on Bushey Lane in Essex

ESSEX, Vt. (WCAX) - Essex Police say a body was found in the area Saturday.

Police say it was found near Gauthier Drive in Essex Town. Witnesses say they saw investigators go into the woods at the end of Bushey Lane.

This is an ongoing investigation, and they can’t say whether or not it’s suspicious.

There is no threat to the public.
