SARANAC, N.Y. (WCAX) - Your furry friends have a chance to get protected from rabies on Friday.

The Clinton County Health Department is hosting a free rabies vaccine clinic on Friday for dogs, cats and ferrets.

New York state law requires pets to be vaccinated by 4 months old, and the Health Department says they can be vaccinated as early as 3 months old.

The clinic will be held Friday from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Dannemora Volunteer Fire Department in Saranac.

They ask you to register online first.
