Hot Temperatures in the Central U.S.; Tropical Storm Hone to Pass South of Hawaii

Hot to excessively hot temperatures will migrate north reaching parts of the northern Plains and Upper Midwest by Sunday into Monday. Tropical Storm Hone will pass south of the Hawaiian Islands, strengthening into a hurricane briefly southwest of Hawaii Sunday afternoon into Sunday night.
