CARBONDALE, Ill. — The City of Carbondale Police Department is requesting public assistance finding two men wanted in connection with an April shooting. Law enforcement had not located either one as of Tuesday.

A news release from the department said officers responded at 7:15 p.m. on April 20 to to the area of South Cedarview Street and Lynda Drive regarding a report of shots fired. Officers learned a suspect fired several shots from a maroon vehicle and left, moving west on Lynda Drive. 

Officers identified the suspects as Jaden D. Bradley, 24, of Carbondale; and Tavaris L. Hill, 23, of Murphysboro. Arrest warrants were issued with the help of the Jackson County State’s Attorney’s Office for Bradley for aggravated discharge of a firearm and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon; and for Hill for concealing or aiding a fugitive.
