FULTON COUNTY, KY — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 1 plans to resume a work zone lane restriction along KY 125/ Union City Highway in Fulton County from 7 a.m. to approximately 5 p.m. on Monday, July 8.
The work zone runs from mile point 0.0 at the Kentucky-Tennessee State Line, extending northward to the KY 166/Middle Road intersection at mile point 1.65.
Drivers should be alert for one-lane traffic with alternating flow controlled by flaggers and traffic delays.
According to KYTC District 1, KY 125 connects with Tennessee Route 5 at the state line; approximately 2,100 vehicles travel this section of KY 125 daily.
The transportation cabinet anticipates the work will be completed on Monday but could continue until Tuesday if required.
