911 Fridge

I filled out a request for an appointment online for 911 FRIDGE 7/19/23 at 10 am
Igor and Anton were here by noon (same day!) on time and with booties on.
They were thoroughly professional and assessed my problem with efficiency and accuracy after taking my entire freezer apart screw by screw. Unfortunately it is a major repair on an older refrigerator and I may opt to get a new one instead. Even if I do that, I will use these men again. They know everything there is to know about refrigerators and they are prompt and professional.

Thieves!!! They purposefully left out a bolt so when a thingamuchy they jammed in to close the freezer door fell off, the freezer door wouldn't close after a few weeks of the repair. Then they wanted $$$$ (think 4 figures) to fix the door.

Beware of 911 Fridge! Igor charged me $100 to diagnose the fridge. Said it was the evaporator coil. Next day I don't hear from him, message him twice, and since it's Friday, I drive three hours round-trip to Sacramento, the closest place to get the part myself. He finally gets back to me and says the part is $375. Even without his discount, the part is only $265, and $200 with his discount, and he gives me some BS story about how they quoted him the wrong price. Despite implying that he could do the job if I had the part that day he says he can't do it until Monday, so I find someone else that can do it on Thumbtack. Of course the new guy can do it for less than half the cost that Igor quoted me. So the new guy comes over and tells me that it's the compressor, not the evaporator coil, so Igor completely misdiagnosed the fridge even though there is an easy standard test to determine that it is the compressor. So now I don't have my fridge during a heat wave for another four days. Igor refused to even refund my diagnostic fee even though it cost me three hours of driving and four extra days without a fridge, and he tried to charge me $375 for a $200 part that I never even needed!

Found 911 Fridge and Igor came out and diagnosed the problem right away.
He was prompt, professional and unlike a lot of technicians who come out to fix things, I felt he really wanted to explain what the problem was and I felt confident I was getting a good deal. I also appreciated his customer service and friendly demeanor. I will definitely bookmark 911Fridge for all my future refrigeration issues. Thanks, Igor! You're a gem!

My freezer and fridge was not cooling. Diagnostic cost is $100 for them to show up. The technician showed up and said it's $288 to fix. I said ok and paid it. Whatever he did for $288 did not fix it. He came back and said $800 to fix it again. I couldn't believe it. What a scam! The technician did not speak English well and told me to call the office. When I called the office, he said he will refund me my money less the diagnostic cost. He made promises several times that he will look at it when he gets in the office. As a customer I should not have to keep calling for my money back. No sense of customer service.

No idea if this comapny is legit. Everything is through text, ive been asking for a report for 4 days and still have not recieved anything

Called them in morning and they told me to fill out the online appointment request and someone would follow up with me. I had to call them back as I never got a call back to schedule the appointment. Lady that answers said they never received my online appointment request but that she'd have someone call me back shortly. Another lady called me back and let me know that their technician would be arriving between 4-6pm and she took down my address. The guy never called and never showed up. That was yesterday and I thought maybe I'd get a call today from someone to apologize, but nothing. Horrible customer service.
Fortunately, I got the issue resolved and no longer need their services.

I recently reached out to 911 Fridge for a second opinion on a quote for work on our GE Monogram refrigerator I had received from a different provider. Igor was upfront, honest and provided strong perspective on the original estimate I had received and offered to perform the work at a lower cost. Scheduling was a breeze. Very happy with 911 Fridge and will call them again should we need maintenance on our fridge.

My 10 year old GE Profile 42" built in refrigerator suddenly stopped cooling. Given that we are in the middle of a pandemic and that everyone is stuck at home, this became a crisis moment for my family - especially since this is our only fridge.

I frantically began searching for someone to repair the fridge. I have used other general appliance repair companies in the past, but when most of them hear it is a built in fridge, they either don't want to do the work or an inexperienced technician is sent who can't really resolve the problem.

I sent an email to 911 Fridge late in the evening and was contacted early the next morning. Michael was very cordial and told me he'd fit me in despite his packed schedule.

Michael showed up right on time and spent at least two hours competently trying to revive my fridge. He never rushed the process, clearly understood how to diagnose and repair the fridge, and was very professional.

After determining that the problem likely resulted from a faulty compressor which may have also impacted the control board, he quoted me a fair price to repair the fridge (in light of the major repair) but also explained that given the age of the other components and my constant ongoing issues with the fridge over the past 10 years that an expensive repair might not make sense - but he left the decision totally up to me. I appreciated his candor and honesty and eventually made a decision just to replace the fridge.

Although they generally don't haul away old fridges, Michael and Igor were kind enough to come back to help me deinstall/remove the behemoth fridge so I could put a temporary fridge in my kitchen.

My wife and I have a fairly new Liebherr refrigerator that was having trouble with its ice cube machine -- meaning it didn't work at all.

We called 911 at the suggestion of Liebherr's dealer in San Francisco.

Omar came to our house the next morning and fixed everything and showed up what was wrong and how we could address much of the issue ourselves in the future, if it ever came up. He was SUPER PROFESSIONAL AND FRIENDLY.

Now everything's working perfectly. Strong recommendation for 911 Fridge in Walnut Creek and for Omar.
