Absolute Appliances Repair

First, let me say, most appliance folks won't come out to just balance feet on an appliance. I know I called several in San Francisco. I explained I was injured and Mikhail told me not to worry he'd come out the next morning. Second, he not only balanced my machine but decided to make a few improvements. Third, he was finished in 10 minutes. Fourth, he is genuinely kind, and cares about his customers. I really like the fact this business doesn't discriminate against handicapped or injured people. So many appliance repair places do which was unknown to me until this experience. But not Absolute Appliances Repair! They are the Absolute Best!

My refrigerator went out and Mikhail was very responsive . He had the parts needed and I feel charged a fair price. He is very knowledgeable of repair of appliances. He is professional and tidy.
Everything worked seamlessly. It's a hurdle to get someone to even show up these days. If you call one of the big appliance repair you will pay big bucks and that person doesn't even care if they arrive as promised.
Mikhail owns the business so he shows he performs to your satisfaction. I highly recommend him I feel he's trustworthy and honest. Plus his work is reliable a great quality.

Ok, I've been using Mikhail for years and I think I can give a balanced review. First, getting quality help right now is tough, and none of the options are really first class. Mikhail is a good guy, who is quite knowledgable, and can most likely fix your problem. We had a fan motor go out in our GE 15-year old fridge last week, and he did come and fix it today. It cost us $300. 250 for labor and $50 for the fan.

Notes--
1) He put the wrong motor in the first time. The fridge wasn't getting cooler and I called him back. He came out again and said the one he used was wired to spin the other way. Many fridges use almost exactly identical parts, with small differences, etc. No big deal I guess, he didn't charge me extra.
2) He originally quoted the fan at $200. I pointed out that it was $23 on Amazon. We ended at $50 which seems fair for him carrying the inventory-- since he actually had it on the truck.

Do clarify ahead of time what his markup is on parts.

The absolutee best - I cannot recommend enough. Mikhail answered our call on a Saturday morning and arrived an hour later to fix our fridge - which is huge on a weekend. He was lovely, polite, respectful, and nice to chat with. Hi prices are extremely reasonable and he works hard to make sure to solve the issue. The fan had gone out and he did not have the exact part but he was able to engineer a fan that works perfectly with other fans and parts that he did have. Spent an hour working on our dishwasher, didn't fix it.

While he was working on our dishwasher, he turned around and I realized he had removed his mask in my home with no windows open for ventilation, and me sitting working about 15 feet away. When I asked him to put it back on, he said "ok, just for you" in a condescending tone. This was mid December 2020, during the serge, and masks were a state mandate.

He fixes the dishwasher, and then when I ask where the dirty water had splashed so I could sanitize, he wouldn't answer me. He just kept saying "you need to clean the whole kitchen, you'll do it anyway"

4 days later, the dishwasher was broken again.

We'll definitely be getting a different repair person next time.

Mikhail was immediately available and was able to come over and tell us what the problem was with our refrigerator after inspecting it. He ordered a needed part and he was able to get it the very next day. Once he had the part he called to let us know he was ready to come over and install it as soon as we were available. Parts for fridge appliances are indeed expensive, but it totally beats having to buy a brand new fridge when your current one is still good overall. Thanks Mikhail!

I read the reviews before selecting this repair service. I was not disappointed. They set a time, when delayed, called, and when they arrived they were honest. They could have sold me a bill of goods because I thought I had a problem. Instead they checked and said that my oven was within range and no parts or labor needed. I did pay the service fee but I was pleased to do it. Should I ever have a problem I would call them in a heartbeat .

Mikhail was very responsive, came out the next day and fixed our dryer very quickly. This is our second service call with him (for different appliances) and he'll be my first call if we ever need service again.

I called several repair companies regarding my LG clothes washer, every company I called said they would not work on an LG because they are too complicated. I found a company that said they would work on my washer and when the repair person arrived at my home, he told me that the problem was with the stater and rotor and that it should be covered under warranty. I called LG and they said that there is only one company in the bay area that would work on LG under warranty. I called the comapny and they told me that they no longer work on LG becasue it's too hard to get parts.

I then called Absolute Appliance Repair and Mikhail answered the phone, he said he could be at my house the next day at 9am. He called me at 8:30 the next day and said he would be at my house at 9am. He arrived early at 8:55 am and took a look at my LG washer. It took him about 30 seconds to analyze the problem and he fixed it in about a half hour with ease. Mikhail said it was the Drain pump and not the stater and rotor after all. Mikhail was very polite and very knowledgeable regarding my LG washer. I would highly recommend Absolute Appliance Repair and Mikhail.
