I was lead here by ParkWhiz.com
OK so. here's the deal..they only charge $8 in person and Park Whiz charged $13 online. I got jipped man.. $5! That could have been almost a glass of wine at the Regency Center. I've turned into an old Jewish gramma, haven't I?

Anyway, it was a good thing we left some items in the car to return to before the end of the evening, as they had put our car away for the overnight parking when we didn't plan to stay overnight.

They didn't suck but, there was a lil communication chaos going on that could make your lil trek to the city a bad experience so.. be careful about purchasing ahead of time even if it seems like a good idea. Just cruise up and try to get their own rates.

DO NOT PARK AT AN ACE PARKING STRUCTURE UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR BUMPER SCRATCHED.

For the past three years, I have been a monthly parker at the Ace garage located at 1776 Sacramento Street. I have never had an incident.
However, recently I bought a brand new 2009 Toyota Corolla. When I bought the car, there wasn't a scratch on it, obviously. One night in late May, when I went to pick up my car I noticed a scratch on the rear bumper. The scratch looked like it was another car's front license plate imprint. It looked like someone had tried to park a car really close to my car, and bumped it. I brought it to the attention of the night valet, Loel. He said he was so so sorry. He said it was one of the other valets. Loel said he would start putting my car in a safer place, so it doesn't get bumped by another valet again. Loel walked me into the garage and showed me a spot tucked away in the back where my car would be safe. He said "from now on", he's park my car there. However, over the next couple weeks when I went to go get my car, it was never in the spot he promised.
On June 2, 2009, I came to pick up my car from the garage and noticed an even bigger scratch on the rear bumper. Again, it looked like someone tried to park right next to my car, but bumped it with the front license plate of another car. I brought this immediately to Loel's attention as well. He said he was so so sorry, and it wasn't him, it was another valet. He gave me the number of Victor, his supervisor.
I called Victor and made a plan to meet with him on June 3 at 1:30 p.m. so I could file a claim and he could take pictures. But Victor didn't show up. I had to call him and wait an hour for him to arrive. When he arrived, he took a picture of my bumper with his iPhone. I filled out the claim paperwork and gave it to him. I told him my car was scratched before and I was promised a safe spot. Victor said he was sorry and showed me a new spot where my car would be parked "from now on." However, when I went in the very next day, my car was not there. I then called Victor and asked what happened to the second safe spot my car was promised. He said he was so so sorry and I should call the manager, Ted Tran.
On June 5, I called Ted Tran the manager of the garage and he was very rude and abrupt. He said he'd file the paperwork and I'd hear back from him in two days. However, I never heard back from him. I left him three voicemails over three days and he never called back.
Moreover, I called the corporate office today and Ace Parking INC's Claims Manager, Clay Adams', assistant said no claim had ever been filed. She emailed Clay and asked him to look into the matter. Clay Adams never called me back. I left him 2 voicemails.
I have not yet heard from Clay Adams, Ted Tran or Victor. I'm wondering what happened to my claim. I'm getting plenty of apologies, but what I'd really like is a solution to fixing my bumper.

      I had a similar experience from Parkwhiz.com

I wish I had seen this review site before booking. could have saved myself the hassle by booking with someone reputable. let me start by saying I am disappointed in the management and how they handled my complaint. Forget the guys taking your money at the lot. they are only doing what they are trained to do by management. I booked my spot online ahead of time for the pro bowl event. paid $25 which seemed reasonable only to find out that the guys taking money at the entrance were holding up signs for $10 parking. not the best area of town which explains why nobody was parking there at full price.
i told the attendant i had prepaid and asked why i was being charged 2 and a half times what everyone else was paying. he claimed that because it was starting to rain they dropped their price. ridiculous. there were still 40,000 people in attendance at the stadium. the attendant was kind of laughing while i was explaining my frustration. im sure he had heard this story many times over.
they basically rely on out of towners not knowing any better and paying full price ahead of time, knowing full well those spots went for $10 all day long. my advice. dont book online with these guys. show up at their competitors lot and pay the $10 cash he is also asking. dont get duped like i did and feel stupid. think of yourself paying for an oil change online monday for $25 in advance because demand is supposedly high only to arrive on Tuesday and find out there is no demand and everyone there is getting $10 oil changes ahead of you. the worst part is that management ( Mikee )
decided to forgo any refund of the difference and give me a $15 credit towards another parking spot at a later date. what a great deal. you have already ripped me off and now i have to spend more money with you in order to get my other money back. this review could have been completely avoided with a simple $15 refund to my credit card.
      FOOL ME ONCE !

Hamood, the valet attendant scratched by rim (brand new car). Filed a claim and the manager, Lawrence Tan came over and offered a car wash instead. Really, a car wash for a scratched rim on a $90k car. Filed the claim and shockingly Lawrence said it was unfortunate but too bad. Seems like this claim filing process is BS. I'm filing a suit against them and at least will make them come out to San Rafael courts and explain their crappy business policies. Also filing a BB complaint and going to state commissioner and mayors office

I used the online parking ParkWhiz to reserve a spot at 153 Townsend. I was leary after reading reviews which said parking would be much cheaper if you just waited until you got there. BUT this was before the Giants won the World Series and also traveling to our first game with a 1, 5 and 8 year old, I was not excited about walking far, price gouging, or having nothing available. It was $27 in advance, and the closest lot to the stadium. I was afraid we would have wasted money to reserve a space in advance which was not necessary, but it turned out I am glad we did.
We were allowed to park wherever we wanted, there were plenty of spots available, the spaces were large enough that no one had to bash into our Volvo SUV to get in or out of their car, and when we got there they were charging $40 to get in, so I was glad I did it in advance. BUT, as some reviewers said, there are many lots, parking was as cheap as $15 a few blocks away, and a nice stroll, but not if you are dragging the whole fam damily. I would use this garage and ParkWhiz again in a heartbeat. Well worth it to avoid a hassle.

Don't park at Ace Parking lots. Try a different lot if you can. They raised my monthly parking by 30% without any notice and went back on their words that they won't raise my monthly fee when they took over my parking garage back in December. We should not give our business to firms that don't care about their customer. Please boycott this place and help send a message to businesses that customers matter.

I reserved a parking spot 1 week prior to the event I am attending, I thought great that was easy. One day prior to the Giants playoff
game I received an email from customer relation, my reservation was arbitrarily cancelled!! One day prior to the event WTF. Don't believe the "guarantee" statement. I am sure my reservation was cancelled because I only paid $19, now that same parking place on Townsend going for double what I paid. What a scam, I would avoid this service all together, poor follow thru and no accountability. Avoid this service if you can. I would give this service 0 stars if I could.

Used an online service called ParkWhiz to reserve a spot at the 153 Townsend St. locale for the Giants game on 7/10. They charged me $27.50. When we arrived, the garage was only charging $20.00 and others down the street were charging $15.00! Save your beer money and pay at the garage! ParkWhiz is a RIPOFF.
