Adam Wooley Landscape Design And Construction

Adam is a very talented and creative landscape designer. He can take 1 look at your yard and draw out a design for you on the back of a napkin. Adam and his crew did a deck extension for me and built very large custom-made redwood planters that are all around the railing around the corner of the house. It is amazing and I have blooming flowers all around now. The best part of the project is that there was a tree that had to be removed going with the architect's plans to build the deck. Adam however came up with a clever plan how to alter the design and have the tree grow through the deck instead so we were able to save the tree. Adam and his crew made a hole through the deck and I now have a deck with a tree growing through it. Adam gives you a contract and sticks to it and has no hidden fees, very clear payment structure. Adam is also a very reliable and kind person, when I was uncomfortable with the building inspection etc he kindly offered to be present for it. I highly recommend Wooleylandscapes.

PS Adam also had his crew water my plants for 2 weeks, because I had relied on the irrigation system being in place when I went traveling. It was delayed a bit and Adam took responsibility for it. Nice!!!

Fantastic team! Have used them several times for hedge and tree trimming as well as fixing sprinkler system. They can do it all.

Adam completely transformed our backyard in 2021 based on another landscapers design, and we couldn't be happier with not only the results, but the whole project execution.

It was a challenging project because 1) the yard is 3 floors up from the street and everything has to be carried by hand up 3 flights of stairs through the house and 2) this was during a major home remodel and the yard work had to be coordinated with that, and 3) we had some of the concrete work done by our GC instead of Adam to save a little bit on costs (pumping truck etc already coming for home remodel).

Adam's team were all extremely hard workers (Adam too), and were amazing at getting materials up and down by hand (there were several cubic yards of gravel and soil, not to mention heavy pavers and all the plants), and never once even scuffed a wall or left any kind of dirt (esp. important during the later stages when the house was almost done and had been painted etc). Adam accommodated a few tweaks as well as unforeseen issues along the way and when he had to add cost, I feel he did so fairly.

Another thing is that Adam had many great ideas which improved on the initial design.

Post project, Adam's always been extremeley responsive when I've had maintenance questions etc.

Finally, he's just a really nice guy and we wish him well!

Wooley Landscape did our backyard and front yard. We could not be more pleased with the final product. They were a pleasure to work with. We felt they listened to our needs and made suggestions to make our vision even better. The work exceeded our expectations, and they were always friendly and tidy.

Adam looked at our deck remodel project, assured that we would
hear back from him with a bid - after multiple promises, reassurances and nearly five weeks later, still nothing. Seemed like a nice guy - poor managment, took on too many jobs I guess. Seems to have a bit of a track record here. Glad the project didnt go further than this. Too bad having to write this review.

Adam's team recently finished my fence and it is gorgeous. I decided to go with horizontal boards and Adam helped me select the type of wood (redwood) and stain for the project. Adam was very attentive and answered all of my questions. The team's attention to detail is second to none. In addition to the fence, I had them redo my backyard lighting, re-stain a bench and replace plantings. It's like a brand new yard. Can't wait to have friends and family over to show off my new yard or should I say oasis?

After getting a design for my backyard from an online company, I took the design to Adam Wooley and another company that the online designer referred me to. Adam got back to me with a quote that was similar to the other company, but I felt more comfortable with Adam and the recommendations that he had for me on finishes and materials. I'm a first time homeowner and a novice at landscaping, but I felt like I was in good hands. Work started on time a few weeks later in January with Adam's brother, Sean, and his trusty crew of two hard-working men. The demolition phase went quickly, taking down an old retaining wall and removing old concrete, which had to be removed bucket by bucket through the house. Sean was a lifesaver when it came to handling a disgruntled neighbor, and managed to leave him satisfied with the fence facing his yard. Once the lumber arrived, some of the longer pieces had to be carried barefoot through the upper level of the house due to a tight turn in the downstairs level. I'm beyond thrilled with the final result. They made me a sturdy and clean looking horizontal plank cedar fence, a beautiful ipe boardwalk and deck, and a smooth, flawless concrete patio and hot tub platform. They pushed through bad weather, worked on two Saturdays to make up for lost time, and finished almost exactly when they said they would. They even came back to plant some bamboo in planters that I hadn't purchased in time, and are planning on helping me swap out some lighting that I changed my mind about, free of charge. So happy to have it all done in time for warmer weather COVID-safe gatherings.

Adam and team are great . They took our YardZen design and made it even better by selecting better lighting , slightly different decorative grasses. Hard working, lovely team -- they know landscaping AND what will actually grow well. He has done three jobs on our block in the past year or so.

We received exceptional service from Adam and his team. Most importantly was how everyone on the job conducted themselves. We had several crews coming through to do work and they listened to every concern and addressed it right at the start of the project. We have a small home and the team would have too work through a living space. Not easy work when removing dirt. But the team was very sensitive to our needs and did additional work to protect our walls, floors and even create closed plastic space to reduce dust into our main home. What I liked most about the Wooley team, beyond the finished product, was that it felt like a partnership. We did our best to communicate realistic needs and I feel that was reciprocated and appreciated. I would highly recommend this firm for your residential project. My wife LOVES our backyard. (enough said) The team works extremely hard and they take a lot of pride in their craft. Here them out and consider their recommendations. They absolutely know what they are doing. True craftsmanship.

PS: (BTW, yes it is hard to get on the calendar for anyone good. And yes, this company has a lot of work. Be patient and persistent. )

Got ghosted by Adam after coming and taking a look at the yard and promising dates to give a quote. No follow through on promises.
