We first bought a washer from AHA about 3 years ago and we were impressed. We bought an used LG washer but it had been tested by their in-house technician. They have store warranty for the appliances, so we trusted them. Plus the price was very good and the delivery & installation was on time. The washer still works until this day.

So, when we needed a dishwasher, we went back to AHA earlier this year. Unfortunately, the selection wasn't as many. But we still got a brand new Whirlpool one from them. The price was cheaper than the retails and other discount stores/warehouse (we visited several stores prior). Again the delivery, installation & customer service was excellent! We called back the day after because the dishwasher was missing a toe kick cover. Alex was very responsive and ordered a new one for us for free.

Fast forward to couple months ago, we just moved to a new house and did kitchen renovation. We again went back to AHA to buy almost the entire home appliances with them. We bought fridge, induction cooktop, hood, double wall ovens, LG washer & dryer and even a sofa set and a bathroom vanity. Matt helped us arrange the delivery as we live a bit further away from their delivery area but they could accomodate it. All the appliances work beautifully in our new kitchen. We couldn't believe that we got such a good price for our big purchase! It does save us some $$$!

The brand & selection might be hit and miss since they sell what they can get. But if you find one that you like, buy it fast since you can't beat the price anywhere else! The customer service (Matt & Alex) was excellent and the deliveries were always on time from our 3 purchases. We will definitely come back if we need another appliance.

The reviews in here are obviously from friends and family of this generic company.
They talk a good game but provide defective appliances.
They may look shiny and new but obviously are not when they aren't working the first day you get them.
Their speech and advertisements show scratched damaged appliance not used and returned because they are defective

I am so glad I found AHA for appliances. I manage five apartment complexes so I often need high-quality appliances at a price that works for me and AHA is exactly the store to provide that. Their customer service is impeccable. They are professional, kind and really go the extra mile to make sure I'm satisfied with my purchase and delivery/install of the appliance. I've already been doing business with them for about a year and they are my permanent go to appliance store.

*Update*
Our fridge just got delivered and installed by the AHA team in-house. The guys were fast and took a lot of care coming in and out to make sure nothing was damaged. They even offered to help take out our baseboard for us so the fridge would fit, which we planned to do ourselves.

We moved a year ago into an older home nearby and we need to replace all the major appliances. Our real estate agent, Monica, highly recommended AHA as her go-to appliance vendor for clients. We had a great experience getting our dishwasher here from Alx being first time home owners and new to buying appliances. He was so patient walking us through the different brands and explaining the functionality and giving us space to talk things over. We were really blown away by how how high quality everything was and the prices listed. 50% off for a minor cosmetic issue was a steal to customers like us looking to get more bang for our buck. We ended up getting a kitchen aid dishwasher that was more than 50% off retail and it was in perfect condition.

6months later, I can't stop thinking about the kitchen aid fridge and range that Alx showed me haha. So today I went back in and they had the exact same model kitchenaid fridge that Alx showed me 6 months ago and it was more than 50% off again. So, I went in and got a fridge in less than 30minutes haha. I love that they do delivery and haul away your old fridge as well. I can't wait for our brand new kitchen aid fridge to replace the gross yellow one that came with this house.

Guess I'll probably be back in another 6 month for that range lol.

After days of googling different used appliance stores from Fremont-Oakland Area, I came across this place, with almost every review 4+ stars and all reviews were recent! So I decided to come in and look at their fridges. After about a minute of walking, Noelle came up and asked if we needed any help. She pointed us in the direction of all her fridges, gave me advice, showed me prices. Assured me that they were all in great - working condition.

I was so scared, esp because this is my first big USED appliance purchase. So I didn't want to go through craigslist and possibly get scammed.. then I was still scared to purchase one at a used appliance store because what if it always has problems or what if once the warranty is up, it goes bad. But not here, so far so great!!

Noelle walked me through the whole process and made me feel 100% comfortable with my purchase. I didn't have a truck that day my fiancee was away at work and delivery to Tracy was $100. So my cheap ass. Just put a deposit down (half the price of the fridge) to secure it. She also let me know that I have 1 year of free labor & warranty. So how amazing is that? Usually warranty is 30-60 days. But I get 1 whole year. Very reassuring.

So last Saturday we went to pick it up. Kinda funny when I went in the guy working was just going to give me the fridge, but I told him I hadn't paid it in full (yes, i'm an honest person!) if you would've just walked out with the fridge without fully paying, you're a POS! Period. Lol Anyways, they didn't know which fridge was mine, no label or anything on it. So that kinda made me wonder what if someone else would've came in and bought it. I would've been sad! Anyways, I paid it off, he gave me my receipt. I told him which one it was. Him and another man helped my fiancee load it. And we went on our way.

We have to lay the fridge down. (Which I didn't wanna do because then you have to wait 24 hours after to plug it in or it'll freeze and you no longer have a fridge) no worries. We stood it up in our garage and left it for 26.5 hours. It was Sunday around 9:30pm

We take it in the house, had to take the handles off or it wouldn't have fit through the door. It was kind of a struggle getting it in. Either our door is small or the fridge was big. Probably both. Anyways, we finally get it in. Literally as we reach up to un hook it... you wouldn't believe it. The plug was broken!!!!! Oh my lanta. I was super sad.

Plus it was labor day weekend. So I knew they were going to be closed Monday. So I called first thing Tuesday morning. Noelle answered, I told her how bizarre that the plug was broken? She sympathized and said she'd call me back in a few minutes.. she called said her technician lives in Tracy, that he could be at my home on Wednesday morning between 10-11am to replace it for me!

YASSSSSSS. I was extremely happy. Now that's customer service! So far it's been about 8 hours, fridge is plugged in. Everything seems to be cool & cold. I will update y'all in a few weeks to see how the fridge is doing.

AHA Home Stores truly has the best deals from home appliances to bed and bath essentials. Not to mention the BEST customer service! I went in to their store looking for a couch and Mike helped me find the exact couch I was looking for, and also ended up purchasing towels, blankets, & even a comforter for a FRACTION of the cost. Mike and Matt were both super friendly and helpful and made sure I left as a happy customer. I will definitely be returning and buying any future home appliances from here!

Good deals and helpful staff. Product selection was limited on my visit but you can't beat the prices. If you're not set on a particular item and just looking for a deal this is the spot for you.

WOW!!!!!

My husband and I were on vacation in the desert when our daughter called to let us know that everything in the freezer was thawed.

With not a lot of credit at Home Depot and the refrigerator I wanted was $2,600, how were we going to get a new refrigerator? We began reading reviews and looking on Craig's List for a used one and checking out all the used appliance shops. Reading the reviews such as AVOID THIS PLACE...THEY ARE LIARS.....TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE, Etc. We found a few great reviews for a few shops in the East Bay, so we headed over to Oakland and San Leandro, even though we lived in Sausalito. The first 2 places we went to were really quite disgusting and I was getting very depressed looking. We thought we would try one more place. . .

ACTION HOME APPLIANCE.

We walked through the door and saw mattresses in the show room. We laid on these lovely brand new mattresses, $250 for a full size.
We were so excited when we saw the assortment of refrigerators and all kinds appliances that were so affordable!
I could not believe it when I found my Samsung 4 French Door Refrigerator, the one I had picked out at Home Depot for $2,600. It was priced $800. We asked Noel (the most pleasant salesperson I have ever worked with!) why this was so low priced? It had a few dents/scratches on the face, but not really too bad. She said it had just been on the floor for a while because it was a larger refrigerator that is wider than than the counter. A large 28 Cubic size. Just what I needed, as I am a professional chef for multi-millionaires. We wanted it and it was in our budget. Just what we had.

To make it even better....
We noticed a sign that said No Credit Check Financing on the window, so we asked Noel, what about this?
She said, oh yes no credit check and no interest for 3 months and we could be approved in as little as 5 minutes!
Really?????
I filled out a very small application that took about 2 minutes. Noel sent me a text, I clicked on the link, added a few verification items, texted back and bammmmmm. . . I was approved for $2,000! With no interest and 3 months to pay back . . . I was elated!
We decided to get the mattress too. A new mattress and a modern beautiful black chrome refrigerator (that I have since called Darth Vader)
all for $1,200, including tax and a $50 payment to Acima, their credit department.
Now we just had to get it delivered, as we live in Sausalito and Action does not deliver to Sausalito.
Fortunately, we had met Art with JUNK IT MOVE IT at the last shop. He had such a great personality and a beautiful professional rig. We had exchanged numbers as he was going to send us photos of a fridge he was picking up that he could sell us for $400 used. I contacted him to see about delivery. We texted him our sales slip and gave him permission to pick up our merchandise. I had brief trepidation that he could steal our merchandise. His reviews were very good, so I trusted him. He is excellent and I would recommend him for your appliance delivery and junking your old appliance.

I can't say enough about the relief I had and the great experience all around. I will be returning again and again to Action Home Appliance, as I am a Private Chef and need all new appliances as we have lived in our home for over 22 years and I have never purchased my own modern appliances. It is quite wonderful to find these great gems - Action Home Appliance and Art with Junk It Move It!

Over the past few days since acquiring the fridge we have had several questions for Noel and she is on it! Very professional and reliable support. We also have a great warranty for a year on the product and they stand behind everything! Although their items are advertised as used, they are brand new due to cosmetic flaws or out of package.
