Emerson and his crew did an amazing job with our move out cleaning! We have a 1 bedroom loft in SoMa with tons of cabinets everywhere. They cleaned them all, inside and out perfectly! I also had scotch tape that was stuck to the refrigerator, from like 10 years of notes and photos, and without damaging the stainless steel, they got them all off. Emerson and the girls were very professional, sweet and thorough. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing a regular house cleaner or a move out clean. I only wish I had found them when we lived in the city. Thanks Alves Cleaning!

They were so nice and professional. One of the tenants left my Aun't property a mess! I called them to do a deep cleaning. They really got the grime and gunk out and paid close attention to detail. After they cleaned we just slapped some paint on the walls and it was move-in ready. I can't thank Alves Cleaning enough!

Communication- Emerson responded to our request via Yelp very quickly and answered all the questions. He provided a handout over text with the details of the cleaning that would be covered which was very helpful. Very professional. The team was very professional and arrived on time (they actually arrived early and were ready to start right on time).

Service - excellent. Previous tenant left the unit in a mess. They didn't even try to clean. Emerson's team came in and did a move out clean. It took them ~4-5 hours for 2 BR 1BTh for 2 people. I was most concerned about the freezer and stove/hood, so I pointed them out to the cleaner. They did a good job with it. They texted 30 mins in advance for me to come back for a walkthrough. Emerson was there to inspect the work himself and walked me through the work his team did.

Price - very reasonable.

Note- the cleaners don't speak English well but we had no issue. They work hard and the work shows. I had my kids with me when I meet up with the cleaners In the beginning. Although she doesn't speak English well, she waved to let me know to take my kids out before she spray any cleaning chemicals. I really appreciate that. Great customer service.

I hired Alves cleaning for a move-out/deep clean. In short, the cleaning was sub-standard. Pay attention to the other reviews here that talk about spotty/cleaning and untouched surfaces from Miriam and Raphael, as that's what you'll likely get.

Main issues:

1. There was a stain in the bathtub that Miriam and Raphael did not get out. At the end of the cleaning we pointed this out to them. Raphael tried scrubbing it again with some Comet, but after a minute gave up. Miriam told me that the stain was rust and would not come out. I told her we've got similar stains out before, but they refused to try any more.

We went down to Lowe's, bought a bottle of rust stain remover spray, and got the stain out in a couple of minutes (see attached photo). You'd think a professional cleaning company would know how to handle things like this.

2. After they left, we discovered all the areas that they missed. They didn't clean the inside of the oven window, they missed a lot of spots dusting, and the floors were just swiffered, not mopped. There were still bits of dirt and sticky residue in parts that would have come out if mopped correctly.

Detailed Review

1. Booking - the owner was communicative, responsive, and polite. No issues there.

2. Punctuality - Cleaning crew was on time, arrived during their window, and were friendly.

3. Quality - They argued with us about a stain, and were unable to get it out, which we had to do ourselves later. We didn't discover until after they left all the spots they missed.

4. Price - Price was mid-range with all the other estimates we got. Not the highest or the lowest.

Overall, really unsatisfied with the work from this company. I understand if you need more time to complete a job (which looks like is what the owner replies with to other bad reviews). However, I'd rather you tell me it will take more time/money to clean properly, than to do a substandard job and tell me it's clean.

Highly recommend this cleaning service. Very responsive and their services are explained in detail prior to the service. They are always very nice, extremely thorough and our house looks fantastic when they leave. We couldn't be more pleased!

Tatiana has been cleaning my apartment monthly for about 6 months now and I couldn't be happier. She is so thorough, even my bathroom cabinet is sparkling. Baseboards, bookshelves, I always come home and she's left something I lost (earrings, credit card, a favorite pen) laid out neatly. If I ever have special requests they are promptly fulfilled.
Alves is very communicative, I always get reminders when a cleaning is coming up. The day of, they text me when Tatiana is arriving (I am usually at the office) and when she's finished. The website is easy to use and to schedule/reschedule if need be.

Absolutely delighted with the exceptional cleaning service I received. The team went above and beyond, ensuring every corner sparkled. Punctual, thorough, and truly professional. My home has never looked better. Highly recommend!

Requested Alves cleaning this week for a deep clean in our apartment - 2br/2ba, about 1200 sq feet. Their website is quite nice and I really enjoyed the professionalism in the scheduling interface - and, even though I made a mistake when I set up the appointment, they were able to fix it manually right away without issues.

Cleaners arrived 10 minutes into the 2 hour window we were given and went right to work - they were super quiet, inobtrusive, and thorough. Apartment was sparkling when they were done - even one of the bedrooms where we forgot to pick up the clutter beforehand was thoroughly cleaned and organized by the time they left (approx 3 hours for deep clean). They did an amazing job and, even though we intended it to be a one-off event, we've scheduled recurring monthly cleans with Alves now.

Yelp and text message communication was on point - not instant, but prompt, and always thoughtful and thorough.

Great, reliable folks that do a thorough job at a reasonable price. Everyone I have dealt with is very professional and takes their work seriously. They want too so a good job, and they want to hear from you if you have any concerns.

My team always arrives in time, cleans from top to bottom, and then is gone in a blink of an eye. Everyone is polite and considerate.
