We needed to park our car for 12 days for our cruise to Alaska. Everything else in the area was so much more expensive or further out of walking distance and I was worried reading these low reviews that something would happen to my car while we parked it so long but we really had a great experience here and I highly recommend them!
I went online and paid the fee to park my car for 12 days which came out to about $250. We live about 80 miles away and with the cost of an Uber for 6 of us, this was the better choice for us. We dropped everyone off at the Carnival port and my husband parked the car and walked back to the port. It's about a mile easy walk. Returned 12 days later after our cruise and my car was in perfect condition! There is someone there to assist you if you need help. Just make sure to keep your receipt with you when you return for easy departure.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Daniel W.San Francisco, CA02Aug 31, 2023
Had my car broken into. Broke back window. And ran sacked.
Cost me 500. To replace.
Had booked ahead for a cruise. The voucher I got did nothing to help figure put how to park or how it's supposed to work.

If you're staying at the Courtyard or the Hyatt, this will be your parking lot. The Marriott Courtyard is right next door, so it's very convenient.
Note: Not to be confused with The Marriott (about 1.5 blocks), which has its own internal parking lot and that's valet only.
So back to Anchorage, back in the day, there used to be a parking lot gate arm but they've done away with that. Which means that you have to have the pass from your hotel on your dashboard to park in the lot, overnight. And they do check, I've seen the employee with a flashlight.
I forget exactly the price, it was around $40 (plus tax) for each evening. I'll have to look at my statement but it was very reasonable for the Wharf. It's close to everything and that's what's important - In N Out, the piers, Ghirardelli, Boudin, so on and so forth.
Now for the areas of improvement:
- it's dark in there. Could we light it up like IKEA? Imma tough dude and I know some martial arts (Feng Shui and yoga) but I got a little afraid going to my car at 6:30 am - no lie. I bumped into an employee (he was checking cars) and for a split second, in the darkness, I was about to run and scream.
- does every city parking lot have to smell like dried urine in the stairwell? Team up with Fabreeze, Lysol - just do what you need to do because my nasal hairs are still singed like the trees of Yosemite.
So there you have it - smelly but convenient, a little scary but a good deal. I'll be back Anchorage!!Helpful 55Thanks 0Love this 44Oh no 0 - hal m.Middletown, CA06Jan 25, 2024
While they "say" they have a 24/7 rate with "In & Out," they are not very forthcoming OR honest in how this is achieved. The practical effect, since parking here is mostly tourists, is they can rip off tourists for an extra $20+ and forget about it.
I ended up paying $60 for overnight with one in & out. Management on site said they didn't know how it occurred and would not refund me $20 until they could verify. After 10 minutes of him trying to get someone else on the phone I left. I will pursue legal options including SMC.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Andy R.San Diego, CA0421Apr 14, 2024
We paid for two days of parking, but the ticker wouldn't print out. They could not reprint the ticket so a nice guy let us out when he was there. For the 3 days we were there the elevator has spit and piss in it no one cleaned up.

Have to admit I was nervous dropping the car off at this location after reading the reviews but had made the error of paying for parking before reading the reviews. We left our car in the garage for 11 days while we took an Alaskan Cruise. The only problem we had was trying to use the bar code scanner to exit the facility as we were about to leave. Fortunately an employee was close by to help us with this process. Based on our experience this parking option delivers very good value.

Dirty expensive and not a safe place to leave your car. Broken glass on ground. No employees.

Parked our car today at 4:30PM, went back to pick up our car at 10:30PM, and found our right rear window glass shattered and broken into. On our way out we were hoping to find Security or any workers to let them know what had happened to our car, but no security guard or employee was in sight. Stay away from this garage. We literally just had two jackets in the back seat and they ended up going through our trunk and taking a pair of workout shoes out from inside my boyfriend's gym bag. They left the gym bag. #wtf #idiots
Such a huge inconvenience for a $60 pair of shoes.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0
