AMAZING PLACE! Best claw machines I have ever been to, inside and outside of New York.

Before I jump into the machines and all I want to shoutout Kathryn, she was terrific, super welcoming, friendly, and helpful. If you read this Kathryn--sorry if I misspelled your name (correct me if I'm wrong) and send the polaroid picture my way! Anyways she was attentive the whole time walking around and enjoying our close catches alongside us while offering some tips or tricks.

Some of the plushes were easier to grab by the head while others were easier by the body. Kathryn also explained the double click maneuver to everyone who came in rather than sitting behind the counter. The first click brings the claw down and the second closes it with a stronger grip than the default. If you're good at timing, it's a game changer. She genuinely cared about our experiences and that's what made it wonderful.

If you want a readjustment, the staff will gladly help you out and position a prize better. There are some stuck in corners but the claws don't extend to the very edge, so this is where that's helpful. Kathryn wasn't bothered at any point so it really didn't feel like a hassle to ask her and I appreciated that. At other spots, employees might respond all annoyed and make you hesitant about reaching out, not here though.

Such an interesting selection of plushes from Pokemon to Digimon, pets like shibas, Sumikkogurashi, Gudetama, Rilakkuma, and others. Also figurines from various animes like Dragon Ball. Prizes were actually desirable unlike all around unlike other places.

Many of the prizes were harder to find online so I couldn't quite grasp the value, but I'm also paying for the experience, venue, and overall activity so I am quite pleased with Anime Claw overall, leaving with 6 plushes is an added bonus despite the hit on my wallet.

We visited two Anime Claw locations, and one common theme was that the employees are really nice. They are happy to rearrange plushies for you and make sure that you get something out of your investment. This location had great music choices as well. It's a pretty small store and is bursting with cute plushies on the walls and in the machines.

We played the ping pong ball dropping game for a while in vain, then managed to get a very cute (probably bootleg but remarkably on point) Chikorita plushie after an employee dug it out from underneath other plushies. We also received a cute handmade Kirby keychain for free, which was really nice.

Needed something to do that was close and discovered Anime Claw on Yelp. The place is not in eyes view until you get close to it where you have to look down a set of stairs to find it. *The landlord or the city should repair the stairs.

For the claw machines, I'm accustomed to the classic one-push maneuver: drop the claw and automatically grabs the prize. But at Anime Claw, its a 2 push-button technique. First, the claw descends--a calculated move. Then, the second push--the grab.

And the results? Well, we snagged a couple of plushies.

The staff were super friendly and helpful as well. Wanted to make another trip there but they were closed on Monday.

What a fun and unique place! Definitely a tourist trap, though. If you drop in, make sure you have the money to spend. The games suck your money up pretty quickly. Regardless, we had a fun time and walked away with one. Good prize!

Great time at Anime Claw. Right across from Trangram mall. This spot is much cheaper than if you go to Round1 in Long Island with similar and different machines. Unlike other places, they want YOU to WIN! The young lady that was there on a Friday night was so sweet and gave us free tries because we were so close to getting the prize. We also got good pointers from her. There are 100 points for $19.90, the machine I used was mostly 7.9 credit a game, some are 12.9. Since I had a few extra credits before returning the card (not enough for a game), she let me play for free or picked a mystery prize. Of course I picked the mystery prize! So worth it! Love this place!

      Cute place!
      Amazing staff!
      Good quality prizes!

Rainy night. We came, we clawed and we won! The young ladies were extremely friendly. They helped us a lot and showed us some tips on how to play. Though my kids took several tries, the excitement was priceless. I heard that they change up the prizes often, so we will definitely be back!

Had a ton of fun trying all the different games win or lose but nice to experience claw games that are not rigged and that tips are given to encourage winning and having an overall great experience. We did come later than I would have liked because of traffic after our dinner reservation so we were the last ones in the store but the employee there was very kind.

      Our 3 prizes!

We were really excited to try this place because of the good reviews people posted on yelp. Having read those, it is hard to believe it is the same place. You get there and you have to walk down some stairs that look like they will collapse any second. Once you're inside, the place immediately looked DIRTY. Like i'm sure they wipe things down but that is definitely not enough. Inside some of the machines, the game itself looked dirty as well. It is quickly clear that all the plushies are knock offs and the quality is not great. The only positive thing I can say is that the woman who was working was really sweet and patient with our questions. I would not return but at least there is that.

It's the place to go if you're interested in claw games. A great variety of games with different difficulty levels. Went there with a 4-year-old who got upset that she couldn't win anything but the storekeeper was super lovely and she helped us through an easy level game to win a push toy
. We went home happy! Thank you for your great costume service.

First time coming here with my friend and honestly from looking at the claw machines we felt like there was no hope of winning, Vivian, the staff was so helpful with her amazing tips of how to play. I felt like I definitely learned some extra tjps up my sleeve, hehe. My friend and I were super fascinated. It's a little small but each claw machine is based on skill level and they tell you how much each claw machine toys are worth is what I think is pretty cool. My friend bought 100 points for $19.90 with cash, if you used card it goes up to like $21 and some change. So bring cash if you can. This is the one spot where it's not rigged thankfully. We was losing home bc some gacha spots around the area was super rigged. My friend and I was definitely thinking about coming back here, since we traveled afar to come here! Thank you for all your help, Vivian! We had so much fun and highly recommended!
