Our Samsung wash machine kept stopping because it kept being unbalanced. We needed four new balance wires rod. My husband went on YouTube looked at a couple of videos. He managed to get the top halfway off, but he got stuck and got frustrated so we call giant appliances and they sent out Kush from Pakistan this man apparently didn't know much either because he went to YouTube videos also and so he just basically took a butter knife and wedged the top off the wash machine got the back off and put in the four balance rods and my husband told me after he left I'm so mad because he did the same thing that I was doing was looking online for how to fix it and we had to pay this man $220 so the wash machine is fixed. It's working fine which that's a blessing. I'm just glad he didn't mess it up the repair man but yeah next time when we get frustrated we're just gonna stop take a break and go to the videos because basically that's what he did. He looked at the videos and figure out how to fix it.

I had them come out to repair my Electrolux washer. I should have known that the repair guy didn't know anything about my washer when he had to Google for instructions for repairing my washer (first warning sign). He told us that the washer needed a control board, that would fix the washer... He wanted us to pay for the part up front, by check (second warning sign).

After a week, he came out to install the control board. It didn't fix the problem. He told us that there must be a problem with the motor. The cost to repair the motor with what we paid for the control board was more than what a new washer would cost. He couldn't give us our money back for the control board because he had already installed it. We would have to eat the cost.

It turned out that the motor for my washer was still under warranty with Electrolux. I scheduled an appointment for Electrolux to come out and replace the motor. When the Electrolux repair technician came out to replace the motor, they told me that whoever installed the control board screwed up the wiring. They had to install a new control board and a new heating element too. The bad wiring damaged the control board and the heating element. I'm attaching a picture of the damaged control board and heating element that had to be replaced.

I reached out to Appliance Giants almost a month ago. They refused to let me talk with a manager. All they've said is that "We've forwarded your issue to management. We're hoping to give you an answer soon."

I do not recommend this business. If you do business with them, don't pay them with cash or check. If you have an issue with their shoddy work, you will not have any recourse. The only way to have anything addressed is to have your credit card company deal with them.

Our 4 year old LG fridge was displaying a CFE error code, and Applicances Giants was the first company that popped up during my google search. They came on 5/1/24 to assess the problem. They determined it was a broken fan, the cost for the part was $325 and the labor was $275. They required payment of $445 on 5/1. The part came in 5/3, they came to replace it and told me everything was fixed. Less than 12 hours later, the error code is back and my fridge is not working. I have been trying to call them for an hour, I have texted them, and I have not heard back. Of course they already cashed the $445 check payment, so I couldn't put a stop payment on that check, but after reading all of the reviews, it sounds like this is their MO. I have put a stop payment on the remaining $155 payment. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I will also be reporting them to the BBB.

Edited to say they did refund my $445 payment. With that said, I am maintaining my review of this company. They are completely unethical. An LG tech came out over the weekend and fixed my fridge and the part that Appliances Giants charged me $325 for, LG charged $57.

My oven quit working so I guessed it was the igniter but I couldn't find how to get to it and there were no YT videos regarding my particular ranges. I started looking for repairmen and, unfortunately, Appliance Giants were among the few that called back. Their mandatory $120 for an evaluation was lower than other services so I went with them.
The technician showed up within the stated window and was professional for the most part. He struggled with the holding screws (which I could not find originally) and he said that would "make this a big job". That set off my spidey sense.
He finally got the screws off (without destroying them and tested the igniter, sure enough, it was dead. I asked how much the igniter cost was, and he said $100.
I had already been looking up prices for an original manufacturer's part and found it for $45 on the high side and told him that. I also had estimates that said the top of the repair would be $250. He told me parts and labor would be $350.
But once I saw how to access the igniter I knew I could fix it in five minutes with a socket set and a screwdriver. So I told him "no" even after he got the company to authorize a discount of $25, but he had to order the part now and it would take a week to come in. I said no thanks.
As he cleaned up I found the part online, bought it, with an expected delivery in two days. When he left I pulled the oven from the wall and unplugged it. Unscrewed a plate behind and pulled the connector through from the oven. I disconnected it and put it and the retaining screws in a box. Took 5 minutes. Will take that long to put the new igniter in when it comes in. Saved myself just under $200.
But seeing how he accessed the igniter was worth the $120. I'm much smarter now.

My 1st red flag should have been when the Technician came in smelling like he'd been drinking and showed up over an hour late after our window time. I reached out to them about my dryer having an issue. He came and did a " diagnostic"and had to order a piece. I was asked to give a $200 deposit. So I used my credit card and then they ended up.Charging me the whole amount $404. They said the piece would arrive in five business days. Two weeks went by.The piece was not there yet. All this BS. So I took it upon myself to call a different company. They came nothing was needed to get replaced. There was just a piece that needed to get tightened up. They don't know what they are doing. NOT trustworthy.

Diagnosis and initial work over $200. 2nd visit to replace parts another $200+. Had to call for third visit because the heating problem got worse. Upon third visit technician said he couldn't fix problem so he ordered office to refund. When I asked for a different technician office refused because they had already processed a refund ( approx 3/4 of invoices).
FYI , both invoices were overcharged on the credit card by $6+ each. Company was 2-3 days late in contacting me during the process, so I had to contact them instead.

First visit cost $120 to diagnose why my stove wasn't igniting. Paid another $240-ish for the part+labor to fix the stove, but the tech never arrived.

I scheduled four different visits and the tech no-showed each time without a call. The home office had no idea that the tech hadn't visited. Was refunded the $240, never got the $120 back.

The poor ladies on the phone have no actual ability to make anything happen .

Save yourself the trouble and use a different company.

We have a Wolf microwave. I should have only had a Wolf Authorized repair company come to our home but since they were a week out for an appt I tried this company. Two guys came and looked inside the microwave. Result: Parts needed to be ordered and the estimate was $1200.
Today we had Box Appliance (they are a Wolf Authorized repair Co), the gentleman was here for 20 minutes, fixed the microwave and the charge? $325.
