I can't attest to these other reviews...but my experience was pretty damn good!

I was there to get my car cleaned before a family wedding and these guys were amazing. They cleaned EVERYTHING!! I mean every little crevice. I was pleasantly surprised.

About the waiting...well I just dropped it off and left. I came back the next day. So I wasn't under a time crunch. I swear, my car looked brand new...my rims were cleaner than I had seen them in a long time.

I am definitely going back. Only cons? It's pricey...but worth it to go twice a year. Also, a little too pushy when trying to sell their weekly package. I'll probably go back after the summer.

Ending note: still astonished about how clean they got it. For real.

Understaffed. Waited 1.5 hours to get my car washed on a Tuesday. Also, the place is hardly appealing to be in for all that time.

Open on early Sunday morning so that's awesome. They work meticulously and make sure to clean the car as best as possible. Had the carpets shampooed and full polish work. They have a lounge with coffee and vending machine.
Good service for the price

Archipelago is a full service car wash. Conveniently, Open at 9am every day. Jerry and crew clean inside and out, from door crevices to the trunk. Some reviews that say they do a poor job because they missed a spot. Just show them and they'll take care of it. They're human. Communicate with them. Never had an issue with service here.

Don't waste your time here. Went on Sunday morning when was empty. The guy looked at my car and based on a 3 sec assessment of the drivers side floor mat told my cars was too dirty inside and he would charge me extra $20 for cleaning. Told me to go across the street to Husky car wash !Looks like they prefer to wash clean cars only so they can do the bare minimum.

The guys who work here are very good with detail and are quick considering its 5 people on one car.
If you could see my tire rims before it was totally black, they are shiny again! For my small SUV inside and out total with tax was $40 . It's true, they did not ask me if I wanted the car mats done, they just did them for $2 each. I luckily did want them done, but I'd prefer if they asked.
Entrance is not on Marine, but the alley behind.
There is a sitting lounge with a few modern couches and magazines.
They also offer monthly unlimited packages (check my photo).

Think twice before you buy their membership if you want to get a decent wash. They used to clean cars quite thoroughly, but now they do not bother to clean the inside of windshield, the underbody, and any spots which they think it's irrelevant. The customer's lounge is just a joke. Like somebody mentioned here earlier, the TV in the lounge is either turned off intentionally or simply does not work, and sofas looks like something from the junkyard. If they get busy, they will even do a rougher job. After cleaning, they never move the seats back to its original position so you have to duck back into your car. The owner seems like he focuses on selling every poor service he had for making more money rather than doing a good job for what you already have in their service.

I've been going here for almost a year now. It's location good for me living in Marpole. They do a really good job each time and they are efficient. I recommend this place immensely. I go about once a week. They have these ongoing promotions and I am on a 6 months unlimited wash.

The good - My car is clean and shiny. $28 for wash and vacuum for a sedan sized car.
The bad - I got charged extra to have my floor mats cleaned. $14 surcharge.

Overall, with tax and tip I spent over $50 to have my car washed and vacuumed. I was not expecting an extra charge for the floor mats, nor was I given an option. This price is not listed on the outside of the business when you pull up and see the fee schedule. I would have appreciated a warning or at least the option. The mats are supposedly $2 each, but they charged $6 for the large trunk mat, which is probably the easiest mat to clean as it has no grooves. So an extra $14 for my mats. A bit of a ripoff. I was never charged for the mats with the previous owner.

I liked the place that was here before. Mr. Shine had good service and a very friendly owner who was personable and cared about your experience, even if the staff looked like convicts (but they were very nice). This new place is no nonsense, no character, nothing but business. Instead of a friendly greeting when I was beckoned to the counter to pay I got a lecture about how my car needs a full shampooing service to get the dog hair out. Thanks, buddy. Nice way to upsell. And by the way, it's an extra $14 for your mats.

Did they do a good job? Oh yeah, for sure. My car was hella dirty and there were up to 5 people working on my car at any given time. So yes, they got the job done. The interior of the shop is clean and stark. There is a waiting room with a few chairs and a massage chair (coin operated). Gone is all the sports memorabilia that gave the place character before. The staff barely made eye contact and only one person smiled at me when I smiled at them.

So, you can come here if you want the job done, no fuss. Beware the mark ups, though. At least my car is finally clean.

They are being bumped up from my last review because they are pretty good a fat the price is very inexpensive if you get the 3 month pass.
