AC was out. Made an appointment for the next week. Came out and assessed problem. Ordered condenser fan motor. Waited 1-1/2 weeks for part to be delivered. Hopefully, tomorrow AC gets fixed.

Motor installed. Coolant was low so pumped in some more $$. Tech suspects A frame may be leaking so in goes dye/sealer. So far AC is working and cooling. Monday will be re-inspection day.

Noticed water dripping from our ceiling so called atticman since they supposedly do both hvac repair and possible drywall repair and replacement as well.

Our technician Thomas was very professional, identified the problem and convinced me to join their cool club/maintenance club as it would immediately save 25% on the total cost of parts and labor and would include 2 inspections per year. The monthly cost of $9.99 seems like a lot but the 25% savings paid for the more than a year of membership so I decided to give it a try.

Anyways both our primary and secondary drip pan drainage malfunctioned causing the water leak. In addition to cleaning the drainage pipes, he recommended we install a safety control to prevent the hvac from running if the safety valve idetifies a drainage problem to prevent future leaks and $$$.

Their drywall department was backed up so I was unable to get a quote from them. I decided to file an insurance claim and go through them directly.

Would recommend this company for any hvac needs

Update: yes sticker shock for summer. Mid $500 monthly bills with AC running at lowest temp of 78 degrees... Granted we had the hottest azz July in years but I was hoping for a reprieve with new system. Oh well. Had AC routine service. Jordan, our tech was awesome.

I called up Atticman from a recommendation and I had John Stenz and Jose come over and check my dual HVAC system, it had not been checked in a year so I was a little concerned. These guys were so polite, so professional, and so easy to talk to and get along with. They also did an excellent job explaining the technical aspects of my system, and what needed to be repaired, or replaced. Because I was so impressed with their explanations, their authenticity and truthfulness, I went ahead and purchased two new systems for my house because it's going to need to happen anyway. They gave me a great deal and I would say this is five star customer service. Both of these guys were excellent! Thank you, Atticman! And thank you, John and Jose!

Had a great experience with AtticMan. Jose followed up with me over a year from when he first checked on our system until we were ready to start the project. I really appreciate the follow up and customer service I've received from everyone on their team. John S was a great sales guy, answered all of my questions, and I never felt pressured. He was eager to understand our family's situation and met us where we are never talking over my head or making me feel like I needed to be an HVAC expert to have a conversation or understand what we're buying. I also appreciate that they handle all rebates for us. On install day the crew that came out was very polite, cleaned up after themselves and made sure we were happy with the work. We scheduled an AC Tuneup appointment with AtticMan for today. Jeff J, their superstar service technician, came out promptly to do the service call. Jeff J was very thorough with his detailed technical review of our HVAC system. Checking on all parts and processes that make the system work. After he was done with the service effort, Jeff J came back into our home and went over the readings and results with us. Explaining everything, so that we would understand his findings in layman's terms. We are definitely an AtticMan Customer now and going forward. We encourage others to use AtticMan for your heating and cooling service. Ask for Jeff J! He is a true professional and has his client's best interest in mind. Way to go, AtticMan & Jeff J!

Very Happy with the whole experience. Atticman staff were professional, diligent and respectful from start to finish. We got a detailed quote from Randall, including what needed to be done to fix airflow in our current system (and why), how the new system would look (e.g., where the new supply vents would go), advice on what kind of system to go with based not just on cost, but also servicability and compatibility with standard parts, as well as answers to all our questions about modern heat pumps and their efficiency.

They took care of all $4500 of heat pump rebates (SMUD, California Clean Energy) automatically (and advised us about the additional $2000 Federal Tax rebate) and then gave us an amazing price (including a Whole House fan) on top of all that!

At installation time (just a few days later in April), Derrick and Dillon's crew were respectful (floor coverings, not too much noise, even super friendly to our dogs) and really knew their trade, getting it done in 1 day and then walking us through the new system, including Ecobee thermostats, outdoor unit, and the schedule for house fan install and inspections going forward.

The house fan went in super quick thanks to Ryan's crew, who were also professional, courteous, and did a great job with the placement and instruction.

After the installation when we had questions about the system (were getting a little too much airflow, causing a whistle in some of the prominent register vents), Dustin came back and installed new high-flow registers to reduce the noise, and adjusted the dampers to make sure we were happy.

Overall, not much more you can ask for! We definitely recommend Atticman for your HVAC system replacement!

Kris came by today to explain what the City Inspector would be looking for and to do a pre inspection. Kris was timely, dressed well, professional and personable. He did the pre inspection told me a thing or two of what the inspector might want. Kris met with the City inspector when he got here, walked him through the house for us. Process was super easy and painless. Thank you Kris!

Upgrading from a gas furnace and AC to an electric HVAC system with Atticman went smoothly. That said, we did experienced some challenges with the new unit due to air inflow (ducts) and its design (old home).

Here's where Atticman truly impressed me. Their commitment to customer satisfaction is very reliable. Darwin came out to personally review the system design, he was knowledgable and very professional. He identified the culprit: a section of outdated ducts that weren't optimized for the new system.

Darwin offered clear solutions to modify ducts and improve airflow and the system's efficiency. The repairs were completed quickly and professionally by Dustin and Darwin . My new electric HVAC system runs great, and so far has maintained my home comfortable and efficient.
