Rating this place with one is still too much! DOES YELP have NO STAR RATINGS????

We bought a car from this place because our old car was completely ruined. WRONG thing to do!!! THEY ARE SCAMMERS and rude...we ended paying an outrageous amount for a 2000 Jetta which looked pretty nice and when we test drove it with my husband it ran well. WE WRONG AGAIN!!!!!

I went to a meeting from work the next day (not even after 24 hours) got into the freeway and the car just stopped with no warning in the entrance of the freeway! I call the manager and Auto salesman and told him what happend and he told me to take it to the mechanic down the street from him. He said that i could get another car from the lot but that i would have to pay the difference...ummmm yeah NO!!!!
So the mechanic took like 4 days to "fix" the car, which the manager from the place paid for....which he needed to because it had only been 24 hours.....

Days later they call to pick up the registration of the car which we had paid for when we did the paperwork the day we bought it. They told me that i would have to pay extra and at the time i didnt think much of it until i went to get the registration and the manager said "Oh i paid to fix your car and you guys didnt even come to thank me for fixing your car" That's when I lost it!!! He said it with such attitude that I had to give him a piece of my mind!

FOR YOUR OWN GOOD DO NOT, i repeat MYSELF DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS PLACE! if you do so, you will do so at your own risk but is a total waste of money for the junk that they sell!!!!!

I had a great experience with David! I bought a Toyota from him words can't explain how happy I am with that car! If anyone's looking to buy from a honest kind person he is the right person to get a car from!

My boyfriend and I purchased an SUV from Alex. He was very patient with all of my questions and gave us a very good deal. We absolutely love the car!!!!!! It's in great condition and runs like a champ. So far so good. It's only been a couple of weeks and we did have a minor problem with the windows but other then that, Alex is amazing. Fun to work with and I have already referred a couple of people to him!!!!!!! THANX ALEX

I had a great experience here bought a used car and have been driving it for past year no issue no problems , Really happy with the service and selection. I will buy my next car with them as well!

bought a car - thought i had a good deal.... in between the 2 months that i had the car... Had to put news breaks (450.00) - a starter - (300.00) - and a thermostat (200.00) - on top of that the car dies and come to find out it was a blown head gasket. - He claimed to have felt bad, and bought back the car, for dirt cheap...and tried to put me into car deal where i had to pay monthly. Let's just say it was beyond the worst experience of my life, and was out at least 5 grand total throughout this whole experience. I wouldn't tell people to go there at all. Again someone who claimed was my "friend"...was far from it, and was only glad when he suckered me into buying and putting a down payment on both cars.... what a rip off. I would rather buy a car from craigslist, than from a dealer like this guy. Bad business

Alex of Auto 4 Less is a "Scammer", rude, not concerned and will hang up in your face and call the Police if you go back to the lot for any car concerns. Alex is very nice until he gets your money and will let you know "to bad it's your problem", claim to have made no money on your transaction then inform you money from your purchase is gone! Do not patronize Auto 4 Less in Hayward it is a bad chance to take on a auto purchase they sell lemons so don't be surprised if your car has problems less than 24 hours from purchase. I saw bad reviews 24 hours after the purchase and would not have gone there if only I read Yelp first. Today I notice those reviews are gone! ALEX HAS FOUND A WAY TO GET AROUND BAD REVIEWS AND I RECOMMEND AUTO 4 LESS SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED BY YELP. Alex profile on yelp is a joke and so not true of how he really does business No referrals from me never, ever, ever!

Alex is a smooth talking guy, nice to talk to, he was generous with his time. If you want to purchase a car from him, evaluate the car yourself, or take it to a mechanic! DO NOT trust anything he has to say about the vehicle. Just pretend he does not know anything whatsoever about the vehicle and it is your responsibility to evaluate the vehicle. If you are not familiar with vehicles, have a mechanic evaluate the vehicle for you!!! Alex told me he personally drove the vehicle I was interested in for over 200 miles and it drove perfectly. I did a quick test drive and it seemed fine, so I purchased it ( I was being a little too trusting and naive). On the way home from purchasing it, I noticed the car was making very loud noises every time I touched the gas. Instead of going home, I drove it over to a mechanic friend of mine. He drove it about twenty feet and said ALL of the motor mounts are broken and all need to be replaced. This should have been obvious to anyone who drove the car... Alex presents himself as knowledgeable about vehicles, familiar with the specific vehicle you are looking at and he personally vouches for the vehicle based on his having test driven the vehicle. Does Alex have cars for sale? Yes. Does Alex know that his cars are good or bad? Maybe. Does Alex say anything he can to make a sale? Probably. Can all of your engine mounts fail between test driving a car for a half mile and purchasing a vehicle? No. Can a car salesman drive a car with broken engine mounts for 200 miles and not notice that there is a problem? I suspect not. I suspect sometimes he sells good cars, sometimes he sells bad cars. Alex doesn't care. He sells cars, that what he does. Be super careful, have it evaluated, and don't accept His opinion as truth. Both Alex and his father seem nice. Really nice. I actually quite liked both of them. If they are honest people and they do not know anything about cars, they should both just not say anything. If they are willing to vouch for a vehicle, then they should stand behind what they say.

Horrible please dont go to this car dealer i brought a car from,him started having electrical and engine issues and although he said to bring it back if it had any issues everytime i did he brushed me,off saying nothing was wrong. Finally i came with my husband who works on cars and he said i should have brought,it to him during the warranty period which i did several times. I will NEVER BUY ANOTHER CAR FROM THEM. HE SAID I MUST HAVE RUN THE CAR DOWN,HOW I DROVE WHEN I HAVENT EVEN HAD THE CAR BUT FOR THREE MONTHS AND PUT ONLY AROUND 1000 MILES ON IT. DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AT YOUR OWN RISK.

I have never encountered such a dishonest car dealership. When I explained what happened to the clerk at the DMV, she said the name of this dealership before I could get it out of my mouth. When I asked how she knew, she said it was because there have been several other similar complaints. I bought a car from this dealership, and the owner/manager financed around $1800 of the cost, of which I was to pay $600 per month for 3 months. I paid it off exactly as agreed, but due to personal circumstances, I neglected to follow up on receiving the title. I discovered I never got the title when I needed to have it for something I was doing with the DMV. When I went back to the owner to retrieve it, he told me I never paid him. I left there totally upset and crying, and he said very rudely, "Why are you crying, I am the one out of the money, I should be crying." I ordered all of my statements from BofA for that period, which showed all three checks had been cashed by this dealership. I asked my husband to go back and show the guy. He did, and he handed over the title. I know that he was waiting for me to come back for that title, so that he could try to swindle me out of more money.

I am happy with the car I bought there. Alex is a straight forward person who will tell you things as they are. We got a good deal on our car and would recommend going there. I give 4/5 stars, my husband would give 5/5. They told us everything about the car we needed to know, a mechanic confirmed that everything is in order. If you buy a used car, you should expect that there might be some problems coming along at some point (and probably sooner than with a new car, obviously) and that's not the dealer's fault.
I give 4/5 stars because at first I was sceptical because of Alex being so straight forward and kind of showing a 'take it or leave it, my cars are very good, If you don't buy it, someone else will' attitude BUT(!!!!) this is a VERY SMALL dealership. They are only two people and if you show real interest in one of the cars they will take all the time you need to assist you. They just can't afford to assist people that are just goofing around for 3 hours while costumers that actually want to buy something cannot be helped. So cut him some slack there, he is a very nice person. He just tells it as it is. And one last thing I liked about Alex (which should be the default but sadly is not): I can trust him! Other dealers tried to sell us cars they knew where broken as 'completely fine' and the mechanic told us that they were broken. Alex did not. Should be the default, but sadly isn't with many other car dealers, so I wanted to mention it.
