Overall, very helpful, efficient and kind.

First, communication is great. I called for a quote and it was very competitive and said he could come in two days. He let me know I would get a text 30 minutes before arrival which is super helpful for me to plan as I have a newborn at home. He also answered all of my questions in an easy to understand manner.

I got the text and Paul and his team arrived right on time. I asked them to remove my old speedy wall oven and install a new combination microwave wall oven in the same space.

They did a very thorough job. They insured the power requirements were correct and capped off my 240 V outage and converted it to a 120 V since that was the requirement of my new appliance. They also were able to put in some wood to make the trim look fantastic as the new appliance did not fit perfectly into the space of the old appliance.

They did this in about an hour. Their truck was completely outfitted to handle whatever they needed, including cutting and painting the wood to match my cabinets.

As a bonus, they noticed my cabinet doors were off a little bit and they even fixed that!

For these large and complicated installs, we really lucked out with Paul and his team.

It was hard to find a competent company, that didn't sub-contract out the work, for these large column fridge installations. I spoke with several great owner-operated shops who install and repair fridges, but not the large thermadoor units we needed to get put in. Finding Paul was something we got lucky with - and it was his photos in his yelp review, that informed us of the type of equipment they work on.

Great communication via text and on a phone call.

Great expectations set of when they'd arrive, how long it would take, and what options we had for install - which way the doors could open, the pros and cons of the arrangement of the units etc.

The price was up front, fair, and better than going through some large retail-box company who get someone else to do the work.

Paul and Bay Area Appliance lived up to their 5-star rating. I had an over-the-range microwave (microhood) ordered from Home Depot - Home Depot wasn't able to complete install due to tile/glass backsplash. I contacted numerous (5+) different companies to try and have the install completed, but most were unable to take on the job.
Paul was quick to respond to my request for quote, came in at a reasonable price, and quickly scheduled work for a week out. Work was completed quickly, on time, in a very efficient and professional manner. Would highly recommend Paul and Bay Area Appliance for any appliance installation needs.

10 star. We replaced an 18-year-old, built-in, paneled refrigerator in a very tight space and want to give a shout out to Paul and his co-worker. Found them here on Yelp with so many excellent reviews and are so relieved we picked them over other recommendations. I can't imagine anyone handing all the communication and installation details so well. There were so many opportunities for things to go wrong or damages to happen, and they really are pros, as well as nice guys.

I had to replace an older Bosch washing machine that was stacked with a still working Bosch dryer. Airport Appliance who I bought the new LG washer from doesn't install stacked machines unless you buy both of them from them. They also couldn't guarantee (understandably actually) that the LG washer and Bosch dryer could be successfully stacked with the Bosch stacking component currently in place.

I reached out to Bay Area Appliance Installation and they said that they could do it - they would bring some extra attachment parts and were confident that as long as both machines were the same size that they could make it work. They had a bit of a wait for installation but it was well worth it. They installed and it was all very smooth.

They also handled that the installation was for our rental property with total ease. No calling me for appt confirmations etc. Not asking our tenants to pay for the services. Was able to pay via Venmo - even better!

All in all - very smooth, very capable. Would absolutely use them again.

Paul did an excellent job with our oven installation and the trim looks great. He is a great communicator. He called ahead and arrived at the expected time. He was very respectful and left everything neat and clean. He tested the oven to make sure it worked. We would highly recommend Bay Area Appliance Installation. It is a locally owned company and it is a good value for quality results.

Wow we are so glad we found Paul!!! He is as great as everyone says he is. We needed to install a microwave that's attached to a vent (or microhood some people say). From the very first call till now Paul has always been so responsive and great to work with. We were assured that he knew exactly what he was doing based on the way he addressed the concerns we initially brought up with him regarding our kitchen setup. The next open slot for service appointment was 2 weeks out and this was absolutely worth the wait.

We had called some other companies before talking to Paul, but Paul was the most knowledgeable and pleasant one we found. He kept us posted on what time he was going to come, and kept clear communication and shared the expected invoice ahead of time.

They really are experts at this! We had tried removing the old microwave ourselves and it was definitely stuck. Paul and team also encountered the issue but quickly figured out how to remove the old microwave. Then they installed the new microwave and attached it to our vent - did not take long.

They hauled away the old microwave for a fair price (agreed upon earlier), and cleaned up the area before finally getting to payment. We were so pleased.

These guys installed a total of four appliances in our kitchen: a new cooktop with hood, and a built-in oven and microwave.
When scheduling appointments, we would agree on a day and they promised to provide a time frame two days in advance although they did this even earlier than that. On the day, they gave me a more precise estimate when they were on their way. I am extremely appreciative of this.
The only issue was that the new hood has a smaller profile compared to the old hood and did not cover some unfinished portions of the adjacent cabinets. This was expected however they could only recommend a way to address it instead of including as part of the job. Maybe this is normal for this type of work but I don't think it should be.

Paul and his team were on time and very professional. Moved into a new house and bought a new hood range. Reached out to Paul and he gave a quick and fair quote. Kept me up to date on the schedule via text. Super easy. Arrived on time and help modify the range fitting since it was not square versus circle. Installed in less than 1 hour in and out. Would highly recommend these guys for sure. Thank you
